Need to have a bit if a mind dump for stuff i need to do this week, i do write it on my phone but always forget to look at it :o this way i might actually complete them.

Seems to be very cake related!

    - send email to friend for cake pymt - done
    - make 6-9 roses & buds for cake topper
    - measure and order ivory ribbon
    - order rhinestone buckle for cake - done
    - check and clean cake stand
    - make cupcakes for work colleague - done
    - do a trial run of mini carrot cakes
    - take lunch each day to work - done 3/5 so far - free bacon sarnie counts doesn't it ??
    - remove all photos from my website and cancel it (costs £68 a year) sure i can find a free one
    - read the first of "50 Shades of Grey" books - i'm curious to see how dirty they are:eek::rotfl: but borrowing them off a friend rather than buying them - done, hence nothing else got done!!

On a separate note, we've had a few money gains this weekend:
    - won £10 on the lottery on Saturday
    - OH won £20 on the football sweepstake
    - he also gave me £10 vouchers that he'd earned on his surveys
    - saved £20 on Tesc0 shop - voucher from their promotion earlier last month
    - received a free toilet roll in the post to test and survey :rotfl:the things we do to be MFW!!

Hello.. didn't manage to do much off my list, i read all three 50 Shades books instead:rotfl: At least i'm done with them now and I have time to get on with the rest of my stuff.

Got a cake to do this week for a work colleague, all girly and pink :j i do love girly, glittery cakes!

No spend this weekend due to sitting on the sofa all weekend reading too!:money:I know this was very lazy of me, but i really enjoyed relaxing for the weekend with no one bothering me.. I should make sure I do it a bit more often so i feel less stressed!

right off to catch up on some diaries!

Just finished the cake for my work colleagues daughter, it's very pink, very flowery and a bit glittery.. love it!!

On the downside tonight, I haven't had payment for the wedding cake i'm doing next week  i'm annoyed because i'm doing my "friend" a favour and they can't even be bothered to pay me for the things i've already bought.. if she doesn't pay me, and I don't do it, then i'm down about £50 (and 4 days of holiday i've took off to do it!!)

Anyway moneywise, i've popped £250 into my regular saver and i'm relying on the money from the payment above to pay off my credit card  i'm a bit short again this month..

I was working out today how much overtime i've done this year and how much i've earnt for it and it's quite a tidy sum with the additional bank holidays we've done. However, i think this, along with my Sharesave scheme money, will push me over the basic tax rate threshold :( I've never been in this position before, anyone know if they'll just deduct if from my salary now or wll it be an underpayment at the end of the tax year?

I know one things for sure, I think i'll be doing a lot less overtime if the tax man is getting a larger sum of it :rotfl:from now till Xmas..

If you are PAYE it _should_ happen automatically, but best to check with Payroll.

It's really hard when you do stuff like the wedding cake for friends... they don't value it any where near as much as if they were paying full price to a professional but that doesn't change the fact you've put a hell of a lot of time into it. 4 days holiday is a big chunk of your time! I hope it gets sorted promptly and your friend realises she's jeopardising the friendship because of her disorganisation.

Thanks Sepa... will give them a ring if my pay slip doesn't look like i expect it too! They're not the best at answering questions beyond the norm unfortunately.. :(

Also I've now been paid for the wedding cake :j so I don't need to feel guilty about harrassing people for money.. spent £50 on ingredients yesterday  and have to still go and buy some ribbon as I havent left myself enough time to order online!

For the rest of the day I shall :
    - go to bl0ckbusters for free films (tesc0 vouchers) - done
    - sort out my website and cancel it - done saving £68 pa
    - pop to Aldi for some bits - done, spent £22 for the week
    - measure cakes for ribbons - done - 15 mtrs needed
    - make my first order for App0ved foods (lots of couscous!) - done
    - research cheapest place for perfume - done saved a £10 on RRP
    - look at changing my mobile phone plan - potential saving of £20 a month - still on contract until the end of the month so will be able to swap package then..

    It's sunny!! :j

What a lovely day its been, got time to tidy the garden a little and found 3 raspberries that hadn't rotted in the rain, not so lucky with the strawberries though. Although, i managed to pot on some more runners so i've doubled our strawberry plants this year for free :D hopefully this will mean a bumper crop next year, if we have nice weather.

The grass is now cut, the hedges trimmed and the washing is on the line drying.. i do love a good pottering day!

Hi Fortune... nice to see you

Well that's one day down at work, just the morning to go tomorrow and then i'm done for the week :j I will be saving on petrol, however as i'm at home again i've ordered loads of internet goodies as I can take in deliveries!

So far i've ordered Appr0ved food (£35), perfume (£30), some cake stuff (£52), and a dressing table (£179:eek:). It is pretty..:rotfl:

In all fairness i've never had a dressing table, and at the moment I dry my hair in one room, straighten it in another and do my make up in another.. at least this way i can stop whizzing around the house like a mad woman in the mornings!
    :D
My overtime from last month should pay for all this comfortably i hope (hmm unless i've used it to pay for something else already.. must look back at my diary!) Any money left over from my overtime will be put into my saving account for the family loan.

Off to start cake prep for tomorrows baking sesh..
