Unfortunately my trip to Lid1 didn't pay off MWC, they've got rid of most of their Christmas stuff, never mind.. just some nuts and marzipan chocolate left.. I may have picked up some more marzipan choc :whistle: the pesky mice in this house seem to have eaten the last lot I bought! :rotfl:

On my travels into town today I've

• picked up a free box of coco pops.. need to think of a Christmassy rice crispy cake to make with them
• banked both of my dental plan cheques - £98 - rounded to £100 and stuck into savings pot (plus £4.01 tt)
• spent £14 at Icel*nd on buffet food for Xmas eve, cheap pizzas and my sister insisted on some nasty prawns! they'll all be piddled so they won't notice the quality of the food :rotfl:
• spent £11 in Lid1, previously mentioned marzipan choc and some prizes for the work quiz on Weds
• 90p for the car park

Also before I went to town

• ordered some stocking fillers from Amaz0n, £20 in vouchers and spent £12 extra
• paid off Credit card, only £80 this time
• finished all my lists, then came home and ticked most of them off :T

Now need to (at some point this week)

• order some PJ's for my sister - last xmas present I think
• start wrapping presents
• wrap the prize for the xmas work quiz
• sort out all the hampers - make sure I've got everything
• still need to make whiskey marmalade (OH drunk all the whiskey so I have to buy more!)
• try another spicy nut recipe as the one I found was vile!
• find some straw/shredded tissue for the hampers I forgot!

That's a shame Maybe they'll have another delivery... it's a bit early to be running out of Christmas stuff!

Right, been off for a while due to sickness, but just thought I'd let you know shala that I only have 1 and a half presents to get! :xmassmile 1/2

Also, ended up having to purchase a few more presseis as had accidentally left people off my list.

They did it last year as well MWC, it's like they have a certain amount delivered and once it's gone it's gone at least I didn't miss the gingerbread this year :j

Just a quick update from me tonight as I have a couple of cakes to make..

:j£88 received from selling my concert tickets - never thought i'd see this so very pleased - moved to savings
replaced both headlights on the car - £30
:Tfree buffet lunch at work (and probably the rest of the week)
may need to buy new trousers to fit me after the buffet :rotfl:
:T borrowed (instead of bought) my dad's oil radiator to try and clear up the cold/damp problem in the kitchen - need to work out how much it costs to run :eek: i'm scared to find out!
Np*wer have sent a letter saying they are upping their costs, even though i'm on a fixed tariff, will be checking out switching to cheaper supplier
:T OH has sold his guitar on *bay for lots of money
OH will be buying a new guitar after xmas

and to end on a positive

:T it's only 2 weeks till Christmas :rudolf::santa2::xmassmile

Just had my last delivery of Xmas presents - using free trial of Amaz0n prime :j of course!

Now the arduous task of wrapping!! Luckily I think most things are of normal shape :rotfl:so no weird wrapping to do this year :T:T

Have been reading loads of diaries today, and I'm not sure if it's the Christmas spirit or my hormones, but I'm so inspired by everyone trying to change their future/possibilities that it's bringing a tear to my eye!

Well done everyone...

e.t.a. just remembered that the MFIT chart has come out - happy to say I'm in the green - ahead of my target by £3k :T

I've had some time to kill today and because I like a good graph, I've plotted my mortgage downfall below :j hoping to get that blue down to at least 2026!

Thanks Peonie, I figured out that it's my overtime payment through out the year that I've stuck into savings.. so i'll stop moaning so much about having to work extra hours now I think!!:rotfl:
