mine will only eat (after much searching!) the gourmet tins. Its the only one they will consistently eat throughout the month. We use zooplus alot of the time and buy in bulk. Between them they get through 3 tins a day (small tins!!!) plus they have biscuits which I buy in bulk twice a year or so.
I also have a toothless cat!! He manages most things fine though we slice any cooked meats up for him very small or in his excitement he gags. He is another one who eats everything and anything leading to an upset tummy overnight lovely!Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0 -
I have 2 little monsters, they eat Smilla, Animonda carny or Bozita wet food.
Costs between 60p and £1 a day for that. Currently using the little 200g cans as cat 1 wouldnt eat a whole tin before it went distinctly whiffy. But new cat loves wet food and think the bigger 400g tins would now be used up before the smell happens! Will order the bigger tins next time as they are usually better value.
Dry food - Orijen. About 70p a day.
Always get my cat food/supplies from Zooplus, get cashback through Quidco (5%) and just signed up to Zooplus' discount scheme. Cost me £9.90 but get 5% discount off all my orders for 3 years so seemed like a good deal. Plus you get loyalty points when you order from them and can choose rewards from the reward shop to spend your points on. Not great rewards but they keep my little monsters in toys. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

This is what annoys me about my 2 .... they will eat Bozita but both turned their noses up at the Smilla and Animonda.

My boy wasn't wild about animonda to start with but i persevered. My girl who is new to us was a stray and will eat anything bless her. Havent tried her on Bozita yet as i have a stack of Smilla and Animonda to get through first:D But she wolfs down whatever i give her.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I really would be worried about feeding a cat that much tinned tuna, it's not good for them at all
http://www.cat-world.com.au/steatitis-yellow-fat-disease-in-catsIt's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -

We did have the Tesco Premium tins but found they went off very quickly. Might give it a go thought now that there are more mouths to feed! What we've been wondering is do kittens have to eat only kitten food?
Not sure about if Kittens can eat grown up cat food tbh,but going on the logic of tins v pouches,if you switch to tins, that's a saving of £420 a year over pouches.Pay for a nice weekend away that...:D0 -
yeah - like any cat slave/dog owner can get away for a weekend0
