To be fair TGT, and maybe this is my failing, I don't reply to the nasty messages, only because I see it like some one taunting you- I don't give them the satisfaction of a response, I just read, ignore, delete.

    Good idea though ;)

Anyone doing much for new years?

    good for you,rise above it!
horrid, horrid people, just no need for that sort of response.

You're probably right, I just can't help thinking that nasty people should be pulled up on it. I think some people just don't actually remember that they are messaging a real person with feelings. It's easy to lose sight of that on a website. They need reminding.

You could report their message too, I did that once when I got an obscene message from a bloke. I found a clause in the websites T&C's that the message violated so I reported it. I blocked the guy as well.

I just don't think I (or anyone) should have to accept that type of behaviour from anyone.

Going to the pub for NYE, and will be doing my best to avoid okcupid guy who i've found out is going to the same pub. I've seen him 3 times since we..*ahem* met (and the 2nd time he kissed me which was confusing) and he was ok with me but i still feel kind of awkward.

Ah well hopefully there will be some nice single men there to take my mind off things.

  • Good luck Messedup- fingers crossed its a good ny for you lass.

    Cheers Gem/tgt

I agree that its out of order, but hey some people aren't as decent as our good selves here it seems. Decided to not do anything tonight, going to read, watch the fireworks and go to bed.

I would go out, but to be fair I can't be doing with that at the current time, Decided i want to try to lose a chunk of my weight this year and also I need to change my car to a more reliable, cheaper car.

If I meet someone along the way then great if not, then its no big deal. Either I'll find her or she'll find me- it'll happen one way or t'other

Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....

Have i done that wrong, it took me ages to sort our how to get it onto my computer and now the free bit seems to finish after chapter 3.
Is it just me or have others had the same.

Have a good New Year everyone.

I've got a boat, well a dinghy in the garage.
It started when i tried windsurfing lessons but spent more time swimming, so i was watching others doing sailing lessons and thought that looked easier.
So now when i go sailing (not in the cold weather) and we are having a race, you can always tell which one is me.
I'm the one at the back, either that or upside down and waving for help.
But with all the practise i'm getting better at swimming.
I've got a spare lifejacket if you want to try on our first date, it's great fun.
