Although I have changed my hobbies in the last few years and now do more sports based activities, however I don't join clubs hoping to meet men as that just means I end up disappointed all the time since it never works. I join clubs to do the things I like doing.0 -

I found the photos that raised the most comments (not as fun as yours coin operated sadly) were of me running (it is interesting how there is a difference between what my perception of an attractive photo is and what mens perception is - I thought the ones of me looking made-up were nice, but apparently my ugly mug after thirteen miles in the heat was a lot better) and wearing wellies. In fact, I think forget the sexy stilettos - which I don't wear anyway - a lot of men seem to have a blatant welly fetish or something....
Possibly a thought of high vs low maintenance. A woman out running, or at a festival in her wellies may come across as more down to earth, or easier to get on with. All glammed up shots may make them think you'll be high maintenance.
Either that or they do have a running/welly fetish. I personally plan to run my marathon next year following an attractive woman with a nice bum running slightly faster than I normally do. Worked at the half marathons last year. See I told you I was a weirdo!0 -

LOL I'm a runner too, but more of a keep fit runner than a serious competititor! Did my longest distance last weekend which was 9 miles, don't think I'll ever be doing a half, let alone a marathon!!0 -

I have the same problem! I am a student nurse and out of 120 on my course, 2 are male. Then of course, on the wards, 99% of staff are female. Pointless trying to meet anyone at work. I seem to be getting somewhere with the internet dating however, chatting to a couple of guys now...Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Plenty of fish, but you have to sort the tadpoles from the whales:D:D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

There certainly seems to be very few decent blokes on POF. I was on there about 2 years ago, and recently joined again. It's the same old faces! Surely they haven't been on there for the last two years??Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

You would be surprised.Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.0 -

Some of them probably have been. The two lads I work with that used it, one of them was on it for over two years before he gave up on it. Mind you he only averaged one a date a year!
He did mention that there had been women's profiles on there as long if not longer than he had. He's since given up with it.0
