  • O^O Yep I am sure I am on there looking at theses T*&T% for my friend, I am VERY happily married and have been for 21 wonderful years:beer: together for 24, so as you are the second person to ask that I thought I should set the record straight, my poor long suffering DH sits there and every so often I exclaim something or swear like a trooper at the stupid messages etc, he just rolls his eyes but sometimes I have to share things with him they are just so funny!!!!

Once my friend moves she will have broadband and she can look for herself, I will just help her with long messages because of her dyslexia.

That makes me sound really brutal but I'm really not.

I went through life until my late 20's meeting men in the usual places but nothing particularly successful and I remember when I was training as a life coach and getting a coaching session from someone about my dismal love life at the time and it was pointed out to me that I was successful in other areas of my life (career, home, lifestyle etc) because I had a plan, worked towards it and achieved my goals. Why was I expecting Mr right to just turn up, chap my door and we would skip off into the sunset. Like my SIG says, if you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got.

I like to think I am maximising chances rather than being mercenary and internet dating means the beer goggles never play a role. Reading my posts back, I probably come across more flippant than I actually am but make no apologies. No one gets hurt or is deceived.

I apologise.if I have offended you. I was trying to be funny. It didn't work.

You didn't offend me, I just don't want to be at the centre of you losing faith with women :D

As long as you are not offended. I hope things are going well for you.
  • So ( seems like the trend' so' to start a comment these days) i have decided on my online profile, pending, as follows.
Jason Statham look alike, minus the chiseled look, ability to fight of numerous opponents, no six pack, no brooding skills and generally not as brave. Apart from those minor points i am exactly the the , but to be honest the only similarity is that we are bald.

That would hook me in. A wee bit of self depreciating humour makes me laugh. I would probably laugh more and make contact to see what your chat was like if you had a PIC of you in a Jason Statham type pose with a tongue in cheek comment underneath. Probably a black and white or sepia PIC to look atmospheric and show you don't take yourself too seriously.

What are you looking for in a girl? Any like Jason's current partner Rosie or an ex like Kelly brook? Build on it and the ladies will come flocking.

Erm it's not really the looks. it's more like the connection. Not really into blonde women, although I got a smile from an attractive blonde woman as I stopped abruptly in the middle of the road, whilst driving, to let her cross. She smiled and waved a thanks. Her smile was so sincere and cute it actually made my day.

never understood that really. Why people just can't go out, smile, have fun and meet someone? It always works, you know..... And also the possibility of meeting someone (sorry for that) 'weird' seems a bit smaller that way......
