The standard advice: read some other profiles on the site and see what you can adapt and use that will be TRUTHFUL. There's no point in exaggerating (or lying) if you are looking for any kind of meaningful relationship, it will find you out.

Also have a look at the post by Trust no one that they made on 14-09-2012, at 4:41 PM - it's post number 2536 and is, IMO, quite good.

Thanks, I'll have a look. At the moment I only have a few words because I don't wont to bore people with a long profile. Does someone here check profiles and give advice?

Several of the "regulars" will happily offer a critique. Whether or not you like what they have to say remains to be seen.

If you go into the forum section of PoF you'll find a section where people have put their profiles up and asked advice on improving them.
As already suggested read other peoples and see the type of thing which you think is good, chances are others will like them as well. But don't copy and paste, be yourself otherwise it will show.
And remember you can always change it so after a month or two if it's not working put something new.

NYG that's Ok, different pictures is good; bit of humour is good; no TxtSpk is good. Perhaps add a little bit about the kind of woman you'd like to meet.
But for starters it's not bad and as you get more into it you'll see things on other profiles that make them stand out and can adjust them to suit you.
