Oooh I might get that for my android, I did not of that.

I've got a few pests who text too much.
  • Tell him you're going out but not taking your phone with you, just going to have a look for that auto reply thing, then tell my mate about it! Genius!!

Ooh, you could tell him you have another date?!
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.
  • The other app i swear by is called MY CALL ALIBI. You can set it to "call" your phone and you can pretend you've got an important call/must go home.
It gets you away from where you don't want to be!!

Any tips for dealing with rejection? :( I appear to not be very good at coping with it and take it very personally...wondering if i should put a hold on this dating lark till i'm a bit more mentally stable.

MU - Rejection is the pits, I'm kinda mentally stable ;) but even when it happens to me, I get really down and upset about it. You are only human hun, and it happens to the best of us. Chin up, think positive, and forget him, he's obviously not worth caring about xx

    Go to Market
    Type in Auto reply
and look for the one named Auto Reply SMS/Calls" (by Beetelrock).
With this one you have the option for incoming and outgoing calls as well (very versatile).

    Think of it this way:
You were too good for them. Their loss. Better will come along. You didn't really like him.

I had a very bad experience you can call it earlier on on PoF tonight. A guy I had been emailing on and off for a while, asked for a photo of me. I'm extremely private and don't send out pictures until I know a bit about the person - sent him a picture, I'm not unattractive but I'm early 40s and receive a torrent of abuse in an email back from him, essentially saying I looked like a pig, I should have brushed my hair, etc - it was a pic taken when I was out somewhere and I thought I'd scrubbed up okay! It wasn't nice and I was upset, but it's his issue not mine.
