Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.

  • My experience on the dating websites are starting to resemble something out of a soap opera :rotfl:

This is concerning the guy who lives on the other side of the country, who I decided to delete and block because he was getting to intense after speaking with twice, and he said some weird things like I could be his 'online girfriend'. So when I was chatting with him just before I deleted him, a woman showed up viewing my profile, I didn't think anything of it and had a look at hers. After I blocked him I looked at her profile again and decided to add her.

She came online last night and she was quite funny, we had a laugh about our experiences, then she mentioned this guy I deleted! She said he'd told her he was chatting with me and he even told her I'd blocked him. And according to her he then told her he really fancied her etc  She found out more about him than me, and said some things he said didn't add up.

I told the guy I was chatting with last night and he said it could be the guy himself and not a woman at all :rotfl:

If you remember the first guy who had sex with a woman he met online but was really looking for a long term partner? This also happened when I was chatting with him! A woman viewed my profile 3 times in one day and I told him because I thought it was strange. Just the day after that he blocked me!

It looks like some men are trying to play woman off against each other so just be careful ;)

I've only had one nasty message from someone who said psychos like me shouldnt be allowed on dating websites (my profile mentions i have bipolar-kind of had to put it on there as the first question most people ask is what do you do and i'm currently not working cos of it :o). I just sent him a message back saying they shouldn't allow pricks like him either then blocked him :)

Friday nights date went really well. Met at 7pm and before we knew it it was 2.30am!!! The plan was not to drink but after talking for a few hours I felt comfortable and safe enough to have a few.We had more than a few but it was all good. We didnt stop talking all night. Went back to his and had a cuppa, nothing else, left to go home at 4am. Thats the latest Iv been out in years! He text to make sure I got home ok and has been texting since.
We're off on our second date tonight, meal at a lovely wee restaurant. No drinking tonight as its a school night lol.
Fingers crossed it goes as well as Friday.

Well done, firstly on your honesty and secondly on putting the guy in his place.
Word of warning though, I got a rather nasty message off one bloke, mailed him back and told him in no uncertain terms what he could do with himself then blocked him. Later I was messaged by another guy, started off friendly enough but then I noticed that his grammar and spelling (mistakes) were the same as Mr Rude, 'Im convinced that it was the same guy just a different profile. He got quite angry when I politely told him that we had nothing in common and I didn't think we would be suited. The best part...it was exactly the same message that Mr Rude had sent!! Just shows that you really don't know who your talking to on line.

Anyone get the same cut and paste to 100000 people messages on there like:

"Hi, was just viewing your profile and something really clicked with me...etc...etc"
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.
  • Its such a shame that there are many crazy blokes on pof spoils it for the normal guys..Although there are also some crazy women too..recently had a brief few emails from a girl who lived 200 miles away and she got quite nasty when i said no to her getting in her car at 11pm and coming to mine jeez
  • well im back from my date and i had a really really lovely time :), he was a really nice guy, he messaged me saying he was just back from his footie when i was on the way and that he was rushing to be on time and would see me soon. I have been a bag of nerves all morning, and tbh had a rubbish nights sleep and had been feeling bit sicky so nearly backed out. Really glad i didnt in the end.

We just went for a drink and sat talking for 2 hours, there was no awkward silences etc, and we just talked non stop. He walked me back to the bus stop and then there was the awkward 'goodbye' moment where youre both thinking about a kiss and dont know what to do-well he took charge, gave me a kiss on the cheek and left it at that!!!!

i got on the bus and had just sat down when he text me saying he'd had a lovely time, that he thinks im lovely and as pretty as my pictures, and that he'd really like to see me again :) text me again to check that ive got home ok and we're still chatting now lol. Im definately gonna see him again :):):)

Hmm asked my friend for advice and he reckons i should give it one last go of talking to the guy and see how it goes then leave it to him to initiate contact after that. If he doesn't then i know he's not interested and its time to move on. :) *goes in search of fishing rod* Shame as i thought we really got along..

Glad your date went well zoesmummy_2006 :D
