how long do you guys usually go on a first meet/date for????

i got my date tomorrow, we're meeting at around 2 cos hes got plans in the morning that i told him not to change etc, but cos its a sunday and i rely on buses im only really gonna get a couple hours-dya think thats long enough??? well obviously its more than long enough if it goes bad haha, I dont even have a clue what we're gonna do yet, figured we'd prob go for a coffee or a drink, the footballs on and we support the same team so could try and find a pub to watch that..........

wow, I just got the shock of my life, I have had rude messages but not this kind of abuse just because I read a message and didn't reply straight away. He was swearing left right and centre. I feel a bit shaken up actually.

I always immediately block anyone who is like that on POF. Also anyone persistent who will not accept that I am not interested in them

it is, but its actually been a bit better today so im feeling little more positive about things now lol. think main part of the problem for me is ive been on my own for 2.5 years and really REALLY dont know how to handle things when a guy likes me lol. I also feel awkward cos im still chatting with a couple of other guys too who i may meet up with at somepoint-how do i handle that one lol. God im soooooo outta practise at this dating malarky, am sure it didnt feel this complicated when i was younger lol

GuardianAngel, what site is that on hun???? most sites have some form of block facility, stick him on that and forget about it, tell yourself its just words on a screen as horrible as they may have been to read. Personally id have to message him back and say no wonder youre single with manners like that

Yes, I have just blocked him. it was just a bit out of blue, I mean I wasn't rude but I do have a life as well and it's not like I said there and click refresh every five minutes to see if he has responded. He was going on about where he lived and it was boring and that I couldnt even be bothered to message back. I was so angry, I felt like saying, that's not my fault, you chose to live there. I just want to punch him right now!
