Had a great date last night - I think this is the first person I've met that I've actually felt attracted to! He sent me a lovely text when I arrived home to say he'd had a great night and definitely wanted to meet again. Let's just hope that the usual 'curse of the 2nd date' doesn't rear its ugly head again!

I had a date tonight, but he talked slowly and I kept seeing saliva collecting in one corner of his mouth then dribbling out and he didnt attempt to remove it. He was ok but there was no spark and I explained to him as I walked to my car that I wouldnt be seeing him again. We chatted but I found the whole date exasperating.
What seems good online is not always the case.
He said he gets down when rejected.
I just get on with it and meet the next person, keep positive.

I think that's the best attitude to have. I try not to build up too much expectation before a date and if things don't go well then I'll look forward to who I might be meeting next.

Have a second date this afternoon with the guy I met on Wednesday. We got on really well last time but I'm just trying to take everything with a pinch of salt because I usually have terrible second dates!

Keep going everyone and stay positive.

well i have a date next saturday with the guy who messaged me last week lol. It would have been last night but he had his daughter, though we were texting til gone midnight again He says he's nervous bless him, but so am i!!!! we're just gonna go for a couple drinks in town, i was honest and told him that if he decided upon meeting me that he didnt like me then i woudnt be offended if he wanted to go early lol and he told me not to be rediculous Am going shopping with my mum this week so I might have to buy a new top!!

I have to laugh now though, ive had a few messages on okcupid now and ive chatted to most of them. I got a message the other night from someones profile i'd looked at cos he caught my eye. His pics were nice and his 'write up' was good and made me laugh and interesting. We chatted a bit and he's just messaged me and asked if i'd like to swap numbers to chat some more!!! in the space of just over a week ive got 2 guys numbers-thats better going than in the last year haha!!!

Never thought I'd say this but........second date was fantastic!! Had a lovely day, he was an absolute gentleman, we talked and laughed and I felt so comfortable in his presence. Third date to be had soon. Got a really good feeling about this one!

I met a girl on POF. We've been seeing each other for about 2-3 weeks now and things seem to be going quite well.
