  • Hi

feeling really down today. My divorce papers came through, and the man I was chatting to online just dumped me. What a horrible day.

Just wanted to put it down in words as I have no-one else to tell.

Divorce papers are a new lease of life for you...I'm waiting for mine to come through! Get yourself out for a few drinks this weekend with friends and celebrate being single.

From the very first message, we hit it off.
Felt that amazing spark.....hadn't felt that with n e of the other guys I spoke to on POF!
We moved on to chatting on messenger and it was great.
On one occassion we said goodbye and neither of us wanted to go...so it took us an hour to finally log-off! LOL!
(Smiling now - thinking about that).
Another time I said "Bye honey, will miss you.."
He said "I am missing you already"
We met up for the first time and had a great time..just chatting and cuddling. We held hands as we walked down the street and it felt so natural.

After that the long chats continued...he even said he was falling in love with me. Really felt like I had met 'the one'

Second date..he was different. Went for a drink and he seemed to be in a hurry to leave the pub.
Got back to mine and he was all over me. I just wanted to chat and hold hands and cuddle, but wasn't ready for anything else.
    He was pushing it though.
I felt pressurised and we ended up having a bit of a tiff over it.
He went home and thats the last I heard.
Apart from a quick text earlier to say he had just woken up and was on his way to work (he works nights). Still got xxx's on the text msg though.
Feel that he was just after one thing..

My lodger (also my friend) said "Sounds like he was just grooming you for sex"

Anyone who told me they were falling in love with me after one day - I'd be avoiding.

We've been chatting for weeks sometimes 3 times a day....but only had 2 dates.
Only cos he does shift work tho.
