I've been on dating sites in the past and had a fair few dates - all lovely blokes, all seemed genunine, but wasn't interested in any of them... I'm not sure I'd have messaged you either Rich. I find the list a little off putting, I'm guessing it's meant in a witty way, but it's not that obvious - then the last bit about the outgoing Mrs Gold would have ensured I didn't get in touch. It comes across as though you are witty but also like there's an element of seriousness in it IYSWIM?
Anyway why aren't you messaging some lovely ladies, there are loads out there0 -
Hi
feeling really down today. My divorce papers came through, and the man I was chatting to online just dumped me. What a horrible day.
Just wanted to put it down in words as I have no-one else to tell.0 -
Get back online and find the next one Red Rose, you only have to read this thread to realise how many fellas there are out there.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Turns out RichGold was only 'pulling our legs' and since I don't come here to be ridiculed or laughed at I've deleted my reply.0 -

Rose Red, sorry to hear you've had a bad day.
Try and take stock a little bit. The divorce, whilst sad, does leave you free to persue a new relationship when one comes along. You'll be grieving the lost relationship but as with all bereavements, time works wonders as long as you're kind to yourself about it.
If the online bloke dumped you then it saved you the effort of having to dump him, since he clearly wasn't worth the effort you were putting in. You could tell yourself he'd created a whole online persona that was nothing like the real him, and you'd probably got to the stage where you were almost ready to meet up and he'd be found out. Think of it like that and tell yourself it was a good thing he called time on it because now you're free to go looking for the next one, who will be 10 times better. He was just someone to practice on while you waited for your divorce to come through. Now you're ready for the real thing.
And buy yourself some flowers tomorrow. Flowers always make me feel better.0 -
RichGold, i thought your profile was good. I laughed.
You see, that's because you're a bloke and are looking at it with a blokes sense of humour.
We women don't get it.
Rich, unless you're trying to attract blokes with a similar sense of humour to yourself, I'd be more radical than to ditch half.
Hopefully you'll get a few more women making comments tomorrow and see if I'm the odd one out or not. (wouldn't surprise me if I am!!)0 -

If you'd read this thread from the start you'd know I'm not on any dating sites, and was just pulling your leg. I'm single and pretty much happy that way.
