Hi there, I filled out the claim online yesterday and used template in Martin's guide (although i had to edit it slightly-too long) don't think it mentioned court costs does this mean i don't get them back? Didn't realise that i needed to specify this.
thanks

I'm reallly sorry if this is really dunb of me, but I'm currently trying to fill out the court papers online. When they ask the date the claim arose what do I fill out? Is it the date of the first charge? or the date I started the claim i.e today?
Also I never asked for interest in my letters to the building society so should I know ask for them in the court papers?
Again I hope this hasnt been posted before, but I've looked through all the stickys, and done several searches
TIA

Sorry if I am being thick, I have been all through te posta and can not find an answer.
I do not know when I opened my account ( it was in childhood) and it has changed to different types over the years.
Would it be okay to put " over 10 years" in this section, or do I need to find out the actual date.

You can change the first section slightly.......................
The Claimant has an account XXXXXXXX (put your account number) with the Defendant. Since (DATE OF THE FIRST CHARGE XX/XX/XXXX) the Defendant debited charges and interest in respect of purported breaches of contract.
Then copy the rest of the form in full (don't change any other bits. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Right, so my claim has been accepted with MCO, and now i've got a start option under "judgement " on the options, which upon clicking produces these two options ( default/admission ) , am I right in thinking MORE options will appear as time moves on ?
Just leave it for now ? As its only been served today !0 -
I have filed a claim with MCOL against Barclays......I followed Martins :money: procedures with all his templates and corresponded with Barclays over the last couple of months. The total amount of my claim was £3841.12 the offered only £1000 as a gesture of goodwill, I told them their offer was not acceptable. I did tell them that WITHOUT PREJUDICE I would accept £2800 for a fast settlement. They responded that the case was now closed and so I told them I was going to small claims court to collect......Now i've started all this im getting hervous about going to court.....the way my luck runs, I will probably be the first test case. Do you think Martin will come with me if I have to go?:rolleyes:0
