Can someone remind me please of what I do now.
I received the letter from MCOL Northampton today confirming claim issued 2nd April and will be deemed served to Abbey Banking Specialist team on 7th April. Is it only if they put in a defence that I will then be asked to complete and A/Q and ask for a local court to be assisgned for the case? I think I'm prepared as I have the printout of claim details and breakdown of charges ready.0 -
Hi,
I think I have made a stupid mistake on MCOL and I am stressing out about this, so I wonder if anyone can advise me on what I should do.
I followed Martins step by step instructions on reclaiming bank charges from Lloyds. I wrote the letters using the templates on this site asking for the money back from Lloyds. The first letter with the schedule of charges was ignored so I sent another to Lloyds threatening court action (again used the template martin provided).
Lloyds responded with their standard letter saying 'no' basically, so I took the next step and went to MCOL.
Now I filled in everything correctly except the important bit about the claim, I feel really stupid about this (I was in a rush and didn't think) but I didn't put the account number, I used Martins sample template and just filled in the blanks and didn't add anything else. I've looked on CAG and noticed the template is different on there, now I think I've really messed up.
I've looked online (MCOL) The judgement against Lloyds has started, what shall I do?
HELP, any advice would be really appreciated?

Need some advice please. I began an online court claim, they haven't defended etc so they get the 14 days to respond and the 14 days is up on Friday. I was just wondering what my next step would be so i have a few days to prepare anything i might need to.
Do i approach the court if nothing has happened or do they contact me? Or do i just go straight to the bank? My other bank, once it had got to this stage, decided to throw in the towel and pay out so i haven't had this with the other bank.
Any help would be great.

Ok this might sound stupid
HSBC paid out to me last month after I have started the Money Claim Online Claim. So the money lands in my bank, I call them and ask them to cancel the claim. A week or so later it still showing as on going. I call again and ask to have it cancelled. Then I get a letter from HSBC solicitor, I call her and say its all sorted now, so will contact Money Claim Online and get it cancelled.
I faxed them but it is still on there today, how do you cancell it.
Do I just will in one of the settlement i.e. I accept the defendant's proposal for payment just to get it closed??
Help its driving me nuts

The account number should have been in your claim particulars. And of course you have a way of checking! Just log into MCOL with your username and password, and they allow you to download your Claim Form in pdf format. I don't know how important the account number is for the claim but I assume for the bank to check the validity of your claim, and for the court to have all the details of which account you are talking about, it is advisable to mention it in the claim.
Phone no. MCOL is 0845 601 5935.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

sorry for the rush, just noticed i only have 4 days left to get my allocation questionaire back the court.
my problem is that on the 18th May (6 weeks from now) i am going away for 4 months. how can this affect me. i'm worried that if a state that i'm unable to attend they may prospone it untill i'm back, and by this time they may have a get out clues!!
however they may do the opposite and rush the case through?!?!
also if i'm away and decide to book flights for the case and they either don't turn up or pay out before court, will i be able to claim this money back as cost's incurred?!?
i have citicards and natwest heading to court i want it done asap!!
what shall i do??!
Cheers0
