You tick "no". There is a post helping you fill out MCOL and the Particulars of claim in the Reclaim Bank Charges Help Thread (sticky at the top of the board). Reading this thread helps prevent a lot of questions.
On a personal note, it might be a good idea to stick to one thread you opened and not open one for every single question you have.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -

your help would be greatly appreciated0 -
sorry guys my thread was moved into this one and there is some really useful info on here, ive ticked the yes box for 'do i want to claim interest' and it brings up a statement that needs to be added except ive looked at the 'reclaiming banking charges help thread' and it says you should add a similar statement but im confused as to which one to use because ive also added the one from martins site which is slightly different and also what the daily rate of interest should be? is there a statement i should use more than any other?
sorry any help would be greatly appreciated0 -

Have a read of Beate's posts in this thread as she is a bit of an expert on the daily rates and the interest.0

hi, not sure if im posting in the right thread..
i've just received a part offer from my bank. i have already started court proceedings about a week and a bit ago and they have received and ackowledged the claim.
if i accept this part offer do i get my court fee back as it hasnt gone to court?
Also, they said i had claimed for charges that go back further than 6 years, when i sent off my original letter the charges were within the 6 year period. can i still claim these?
also, im eager to take this offer because in the statement of truth instead of putting xxx.05 i accidently put xxx.50(although in the amount claimed i had put the correct sum)
thanks to anyone that can help me0 -
Hi everyone, I submitted my claim on MCOL late Thursday night and the status of it all day Friday was "requested", this has now changed to "unavailable", is this because its a weekend or is something amiss?0

Vickyb i will have a look at your questions and see if I can find the answers for you and edit this post with them
Human rights issue: answer NO
Interest bit: yes(this is the 8% i believe)
Claimant is YOU and defendant is the Bank
any more questions i've missed?0 -
hi natweststaffmember thankyou for your answers i am still stuck on one thing though when you click on the 'yes' for the second question it brings up a box which states you should enter this in the paragraph above but i have also read martins suggestions on this paragraph and one in the 'reclaiming back charges thread' and they are all slightly different im just not sure which one to use as i dont want to miss anything out or get it wrong, also what rate of interest do i put down and what is the date of when i am owed the money from is this the date of my first charge?
yours or anyones help would be greatly appreciated
