Aw man that's rough! Being clued to my bank account is something I've started doing recently, I want to know where every single penny is going! I'm slowly, but surely, turning in to my Dad

Also just realised that my bus pass has run out thought I had this up till I finish work on 21st but it expired yesterday - oh wel my bad!!
Will have to hunt out some ££ to get to & from work for the next few days.
Do you have enough to last you over Christmas - any friends or family to help you out at all?!?!?
I'm all out love otherwise I'd be sending it over your way

Ouch that's not good news
Is that £40 after all essentials are paid out? Are you overpaying anything that you could.... not overpay next month to give a little more wiggle room? Can ebay come to the rescue?!
Good luck with the budget-watching!Savings target: £25000/£25000

Hi D - sorry to hear about the expired bus pass. On the plus side, only a few more days till you finish work
Everything has been paid for (I think!) I've got half a tank of diesel left, so that's good and I haven't got any expenses other than sale shopping on Boxing Day (it saves me hundreds throughout the year!)
If worst comes to the worst - then my mum will come to the rescue (YET again!) but I'm hoping this won't happen. I just found that I've got £75 in an ISA bond which is giving me 0.1% interest! So I'm going to go and get that out. I don't know if I'll have to pay any penalties as I've had it for years and I think last year I took out most of the money and transferred it (that was the £4k that I found out about to pay off my CC)
I'll have some expenses to come hopefully before the end of the week (£70) so I'm finding money everywhere I can! I've even managed to sell some old bras - so I'm transferring the £10 in my PayPal account now!
I know this is awful, but this is really going to keep me focused as I went a little wayward last month (starting buying myself a lot of treats) so I know I can't buy anything...............anything at all! :P
And to make matters worse - I'm watching Professor Brian Cox (*sigh*) which is making my head hurt more!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

Yeah only 3 days of work left thank god - meeting friends in town tho on thursday & friday so will need to just cough up for a weekly pass!!
I usually get it online & pay for 10 weeks which means I get it for like £9 a week but I will need to pay £14 for a week tomorrow!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Every little that you can get helps tho - hope you can make it through.
Not sure about any charges for takin out that ISA but anything that you can get out of that will be better to help you now rather than the 0.1% that your making on it.

£14 for a week?! That's really expensive - no wonder people don't use public transport. When you buy your 10 week pass, can you set yourself a reminder on your phone so you don't forget again when it runs out?
Going to see if I can pop into town at lunch tomorrow and see if I can get my money - God knows I need it!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

£14 for the week is good where I live. I spend £80 a month on my oyster card, and I only travel between Zones 4 and 5. Thankfully I don't work in central, because I think I'd have to sell a kidney to afford those prices... and no doubt all the fares will go up again in January *urgh*Credit card- [STRIKE]£487 [/STRIKE] £96.78 Overdraft-[STRIKE] £1000[/STRIKE] ALL GONE!
