thanks apprentice tycoon......just added that to my sig:D
next thing now is to list loads of books ( got about 50 odd listed now ) ..to try and get some more sales to pay the monthly thing...... am i right that i read.. if you average about 33 books a month then it is worth paying the £28. odd per month.....Work to live= not live to work0 -
How do you change your seller password? Mine is guessable to say the least."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Bit of a funny story - was just listing my first books on Amazon, while checking through the book (charity shop buy) to make sure it was in good condition I realised that about 30 pages have been put in upside down!! Good job I checked I suppose, bit miffed though coz its priced at about £20. Doh!:rotfl:AMAZON SELLERS CLUB MEMBER 0082 :hello:0

There isn't any way of checking what it has sold for in the past, is there, like 'completed' sales on ebay?
Nope, but it is being offered new at £7-ish from the UK so you might have to go a bit lower to get a saleif you average about 33 books a month then it is worth paying the £28. odd per month...
Yep them's the figures but there are other advantages to the pro sellers - like being able to list books that arent already there. How do you change your seller password? Mine is guessable to say the least.
From your sellers page - settings - change amazon.co.uk settings - there is a link to change password etc.
phew - off for a nice lie down.,.....0 -

Glad you found your book, I can't tell you how many times I have 'lost' a book and had to refund a few times, now I have SKUs but before I used them it was murder.

I had you down as a long black hair too - funny how we all end up with a picture in our heads of what everyone else looks like.
I dread to think what you must think I look like :rotfl:
I can't believe there is any seller on here that hasn't lost a book - if only for a little while - so you're in good company.

Can I assume then that I'm also not alone that when I have the book ready to package and scour through it again and find a mark that I actually shake until I double check my description and see that I have clearly mentioned the mark? I just think sometimes that I'm going to find a previously unmentioned bit of damage, and am already imagining the negative feedback in my head

Not sure if its just me but I can have had a book for years which is in great condition and survived 2 house moves unscathed. THEN the minute I list it for sale, I drop it down the stairs or some pages get folded over despite the book being stacked flat or the cover gets bent or the DJ develops a tear........
Yep all of these have happened [not all to the one book] and so my listings have had to be amended. Must be the Amazon effect :rotfl:0 -
I am still trying to get over the disappointment that Soo isn't really Captain Jack0

:wall: I sold a book yesterday, took one look at it and decided I was too embarrassed to sell it at that price(i had mentioned that it was scuffed in my decription) and refunded half the price! I'm doing muself out of money now...flaming concience(sp!)0
