Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I went to the auction yesterday to view the books and put a bid down, the auction is today, have no idea if I've even put the right sort of price on but we'll see later - can't believe I've done this.

I must admit, it's opened my eyes, I thought auctions were for fine furniture or paintings but there's everything there, well worth a look IMO even if you're not going for books.

I've recently put a mobile phone on for £105 and have had two email queries from people that I believe are attempts to scam me.

Has anybody experienced mobile phone scams before on Amazon?
  • Yes sadly I've heard of Amazon scammers before but I've not had any myself.

Have a read of the new seller boards on amazon, lots of details of scams there for mobile phones and similair
    http://forums.prosperotechnologies.com/am-Ukhelpnew

Basically the email enquiries are to get you to reply, which will then give the scammer your email address, which they will then send a fake sold dispatch now email to. If the query looks genuine reply to it from another email account, then if a fake is sent to that email you know it's not from amazon. Also, always check your amazon payments account for payment before dispatching goods.

It is also worth noting that amazon do not permit the sales of electrical items to buyers outside the UK.
