  • 2000 books? Wow Kaminari, I dont envy you that lot - I am just clearing our own - trouble is we keep acquiring more ... I thought I was doing good to get to 600 listed - and our loft is STILL groaning with what we are keeping .....

My sales fairy seems to be taking a long weekend break though ... hope yours is refreshed after her long break and gets down to some overtime for you!
  • About 600 is my old stock from before we moved. About 1500 is new stock i got in 3 bulk lots. I don't list anything under £1.books so some of the 1500 books (all the ones listed for 1p) will go to the book deposit bin at the recycling centre. I'm hoping for around 1300 by the time i list everything and before i start looking for more. I've got dedicated storage space now and starting from scratch listing them will mean i can organise them properly. I need to pay off the debts somehow!

Yay, selling fairy has clicked my listings back on..3 sold in 24 hours afte several days without a sale.

I even sold a VHS tape that I was actually planning to dump at my next cull of stuff I've given up on. Just over £3 net so I'll still make money even after posting it.

  • I have been lurking for the last couple of months and finally took the plunge to sign up...

I started selling my gf's old text books mid December and they seemed to be flying off the shelf so I started to look in the charity shops and was surprised how well stuff sells. as of the 1st of Feb I had listed 270 books and sold 150 of them (none of them 1p books) 4,5,6 a day for 6 weeks..

As of the 1st of Feb sale dropped off for 3 or 4 days (until reading this thread, I thought Amazon had broken!) and have been dribbling through at 1 or 2 a day until this weekend when I sold another 10 or so....

Until reading this thread I dont think I realised how well I was actually doing!
