easily solved - go to your sellers acount page, then look for 'your recent market place orders' the sale details will be there, also if you click on the long number that begins with 736........there is a printable packing slip with the address etc all on the one page
  • How long do you have to wait before the money is transferred into your bank? please?

  • Hi there wombat - go to your sellers account page, then 'get paid' then view your amazon payments account summary - there will be a date there, that's when the money leaves Amazon, it will be in your account around 5 days after that
  • Hi Rare_stuff and Welcome!

From what i read above it wasn't implied that Tax isn't spoken about over there. It was just to let you know that tax is spoken about over here but we usually start another thread.

Personally i think the two forums can't really be compared. This is only one thread and was started on a moneysaving forum to help each other save money. It is more like a bit of tea and biscuits afternoon and a bit of a natter. This whole site is about support in many ways.

Anyway, because i feel that this really is not same basket i'm not too worried what is said over there. Rare_stuff, are you popping into the thread over here to help improve our advice? That would be great if you are! (Just let me go get the tea).

And on my selling, finally got some space in the house clear to start listing books again. I turned my books (from 6 months ago) back on and thought that Amazon had wiped them. A few hours later i found that i had sold one. I had a good hour searching around in the garage amongest 2000 books looking for the elusive one. And the fun starts again!

I love that people are getting big hits.
There is hope for all of us.
This thread has given me a new lease of life. That is not overstated.
    Amazon is such fun.

  • Hello again everyone

It's not much compared to what others have made but I've just had an email from Amazon, they're sending over my first payment of £27.30 :):) I've sold two items over the weekend too, only a couple of quid a time but it will all add up. Just got to decide what to treat myself to now :)

Thanks everyone for your help on these threads! :T :T

  • Good work spiddy100! It's a start!

I got my first payment yesterday too. It was -£25. Or something like that. I have only just started to get my 2000 odd books back up and signed up to pro merchant straight away. I had only sold one book! I guess it will spur me on to keep listing them!
  • Thanks Kaminari - fingers crossed for you clearing all of those 2000 quickly!

  • Tell you what Spiddy - we'll buy the tea, you make it, and we'll all celebrate with you! Good on you - life's hard sometimes and we all need a bit of a celebration - make it a good one.
