Does this mean it has been sold?
Yes, but it might go 'pending' if the payment doesn't go through. It will move to the closed list when the payment has cleared.

Amazons feedback system seems far from perfect !!!
The door appears to be left wide open for any sort of feedback and cristism.
I have looked at other sellers negatives since mine was left and some are so unjustified - one poor seller had negative because the buyer had not collected from the royal mail sorting office. Amazon ought to sort this out - it is very unfair.
Final question - if i get enough 5/5 can my be feedback go back to 100 %
The 100% shown to the buyer on the item page is for the last 365 days, so (if I've worked it out correctly) as soon as you have 199 +ves (4's or 5's) you will show as 100% again. Or after a year when it drops off of the period that counts.

Not wishing to go back and forth with the lovely guy from the seller connection but I was disappointed to see that he started a thread over 'there' called "The blind leading the blind", we have been labelled as giving poor advice, giving away all our secrets and being boring! But well done mishka, you final point after all the !!!!!! they were giving to priority books was very good, that is why we post on here and no over there. It's a shame but oh well

just got my first neg feedback - with comments book was tatty
Be interested to know whether you listed this under the correct edition or just listed it 'blindly' under a recent edition.
Also, unless amazon have a special policy for new sellers the feedback will not be removed as it is against policy for them to change this sort of feedback now, they only consider for removal feedback that mentions postage, is defamatory or has contact details of the buyer in it. Best sweet talk the buyer and explain you had described it accurately (assuming it was listed under correct edition) and possibly offer a partial refund.
On the subject of responding to feedback, entering a response on the feedback page will not post that response to the buyers feedback and is unnecessary unless you wish to point out and explain problems like in this case. I have sen one of the forum members here responding to every feedback with a personal thanks, this is best done from the leave feedback button on the order detail page.

"The blind leading the blind", we have been labelled as giving poor advice
Don't worry about it! I've never visited those boards and yet I'm making a reasonable profit selling on Amazon, just using the advice given on here. Plus, I've actually funded my selling activities using the money saved by following the advice on the rest of MSE - such as Quidco, reclaiming bank charges, coin savers club, etc. How many of them can say the same?Quidco savings: £499.49 tracked, £494.35 paid.0 -

Does that mean you are actually buying stuff for the sole purpose of reselling for profit?
If so I hope you have registered this activity with the inland revenue and are keeping records of all reciepts, sales and expenses.Do You Twitter?

Yes thanks. Did you know that techincally, income from Quidco should also be declared? It's commission rather than a discount.Quidco savings: £499.49 tracked, £494.35 paid.0
