Just a quick update on my pro selling status. My 1st month has now come and gone and I sold 47 books before I got the note to say the next months fees were about to be taken, I sold another 2 books at the same time but have counted them towards next month as I'm not sure when the cut off point is.
If I could have continued selling at the same rate I would have been well pleased, but despite having added a couple of hundred books my sales have died again. I'm going to stick with the pro merchant thing though and keep my fingers crossed.

Hi,
Thanks for the info, will be going tomorrow so will give full and boring report on sunday.
I decided to put the audio tape on at £28, there is a buyer waiting sign up for £10 but as its the only copy i thought it was worth a bit more. I received a message from a potential buyer today asking if I would reduce it at all so will see what happens there.
My first pro-seller month (payment-payment) ended at 33 which im very happy with but im not sure if i will continue after the cheap period. Ive taken off around 100 of my items and combining them with some left overs in a lot on Ebay so i can get some better stock (i have a lot of 1p books)

ps foxybabe i dont know what you decided over your bridget jones set but there isnt any on ebay so try more than you would hope for, give it a couple of weeks and look again (i would start at £5)Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Need a trip from the selling fairy - nothing since the weekend - £44 items listed, hardly any fiction books either, quite a few are slightly obsecure military ones which I thought would sell well.
So if the selling fairy would like to sprinkle some fairy dust this way tonight I'd be very greatful :AInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I think I need to get some feedback, as I don't seem to be selling anything at all. I sold a book and two cds fairly quickly but then nothing.....No feedback yet though from these sales.Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance....0

First month of my pro merchant period is also up today, and I managed 27 sales. Obviously I'm happy with that while it's half price, but still need to put a bit more effort in once it reverts to full price. Those sales were made with approx 130-140 books listed, so I'll be looking to increase that. I've been out and bought about another 20 today.
I should be spending a few days away at the moment, but my flight was cancelled yesterday due to the snow. I took my holiday settings off as soon as I could, but fear I missed a golden opportunity with so many people at home yesterday.

Hi- I got a book today in a charity shop for 75p which on closer inspection turns out to be an American book. It isn't on the Amazon.co website but is on the .com one at $7. Is there a way of selling it on .co? Or of getting onto .com- I see one of the sellers is in the Uk and I wonder if people over here might like it - its an easy guide to John Maynard keynes
What do you think?0 -
Also- if you join up as a pro seller do dvds etc count too?0

Had good sales today and sold nearly £25 worth of books!
Have been selling more expensive items but fewer of them so wouldn't have been any better off taking out the Pro-Merchant offer, luckily.0 -
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0
