  • Morning all :D

I seem to always be saying sorry for not being around lately but as you know my life is in complete meltdown at the moment and in all honesty I haven't felt like posting (although I have been lurking :p )

Nothing much going on with me today, need to go home and clean out the fridge as OH has been ill this week so hasn't been eating so I need to see what can be saved and frozen! Also need to have a good go through my cupboards as we seem to have so much food in at the moment I was dreaming last night that we were invaded and everyone moved into my house

Apart from that everything that was going on is still there, just getting worse in fact but I have decided that it is getting me too down and that I should be more worried about how me and OH are rather than letting outside family and friends get to us :D

Its good to be back (and hopefully I will stay back this time) and get back into a little bit of normality!

As always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed

jellycat - ((HUGS)) to you and OH, my mum was diagnosed with angina and refused to take the tablets prescribed as they made her feel worse, so she started walking more, and eating better. Basically, no processed food, lots and lots of fruit and veg and cutting back on fats - basically a very OS style of living. We were brought up very OS, but she changed her eating habits when we left home and her boyfriend started taking her out for meals (3 courses, fish and chips etc) and although there is angina in our family (my grandfather had it) her eating habits played a big part in this. Now she has gone back to being OS, her angina has all but gone!!!!

    Hi all.
Well it's blowing so badly here I've decided to keep the children home. I hope I'm not being a bad mother - but the wind is so strong it's a little frightening.

I think if I'd had realised just how bad it is out there I'd have done the same - I came home sodden to the bone and feel shattered...walking against the wind up hill isn't nice - especially with the rain feeling like needles on your skin. We had a lorry blow over on the road about half a mile away and I can see next doors rose arch is now at the bottom of their garden instead of the top.

Just hope it all calms down before 3pm!

I've just done a bit of a 27 fling boogie - but managed a whole basket full of stuff...amazing what tatt builds up.

    Hi all:j

Back from walking kids to school, blimey was hard walking in the snow, really felt my legs hurting, but thats good i guess:rotfl: not much snow either, has turned to ice and as usual gritters out late as normal!

Dh got the worst of it though, he left at 5 and where he works is higher up than us so they get the worst of the snow, he rang at 6 saying roads were very icy:eek: it was this time last year he skidded and crashed the car, just days after getting it down south, so he is nervous about driving in the snow now:confused:

Anyway must get on, bm to go on, think i will do french sticks again.

Lo in bed, sound asleep, he was laughing like a nutter when i was pushing his buggy over the snow:rotfl: must have been the noise:D

    Hugs
    Kyle

    Morning :hello:

Only really skimmed through the thread this morning... on training course again in a few mins and have spent the past half hour completing a health and safety survey for work. Then I read through this thread so fast that I thought JackieO had said she was an "amateur gynaecologist"   :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yep it's very windy this morning. Rain isn't too bad though - I managed to walk all the way to work without giving up and getting on the bus halfway like I did yesterday when the rain started chucking down. The wind was behind me all the way, which definitely helped!

Got out of work a little early yesterday and had to go straight home as my Book People parcel turned up :j :j :j I meant to go out again to Morrisons but frankly couldn't be bothered even though I desperately need washing powder, hair conditioner, and more to the point, FOOD (fridge is bare, and freezer almost is too... and I'll pay a high price for my laziness seeing as I've got nothing for lunch today or tomorrow, and don't now have time to go to the supermarket until tomorrow evening at the earliest :o:o  )

Am off to a charity event this evening for work, drinks and a finger buffet are I think supplied.

PP if you need any help with that cleaning, let me know.

Got to go, ((((hugs)))) jellycat and I hope your OH is feeling better soon.

    Love Rzl xx
