Trust me, they make me laugh every day, between him and his brother the comments they make are hilarious. DS1 has Autism and is very literal, DS2 being assessed is about the same, very logical thinkers. Says what he thinks and unfortunately empathy isn't one of his best skills, something that doesn't come naturally to children on the spectrum. I threatened to take DS1s PC time off him if he didn't keep his room more tidy - 'But I need to do research for my homework' they could write an excuse book between them. DP came down laughing a few days ago, I said what's wrong, he said he'd won an arguement with DS about something (Doesn't happen very often he was chuffed to bits) Some of the funy but shouldn't say it, trying to get an answer at his Great Nanas door she wasn't answering he says ' Don't worry she might be dead old people do that sometimes' in a very 'matter of fact' way. Unfortunately we'd had to try and explain death to him just before and he just seen that as a logical reason. My Nana had heard as the window was open, but thankfully she is very understanding and knows how he thinks, she couldn't stop laughing.
Anyone else been watching Baby Borrowers, I've been watching it most days, brilliant! One day I might be more organised...........
