  • Evening Guys!

Have spent most of the day snoozing:o ...have felt crap all day. Hospital didnt go too well, but im stil here.

OH (with a little bit of my help:D ) did all of upstairs and he even hoovered down the stairs. Tomorrow is downstairs but seen as the toilet is done daily, its just the lounge, kitchen and hallway to do...no more than 45 mins I would think as its not that bad. Hopefully, a cleaner will be set up by next week. Thanks for the offer BargainRzl-you truly are a lovely person and I will let you know if I need some help, but sure we will be ok;)

Anyway, Im gonna say goodnight and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Have promised DD that me and her will see Miss Potter after school:eek:

    Have a good sleep everyone.

then I had a battle with Orange mobile again. eventually got the refund but it took two calls because the first time, after nearly half an hour spent mostly on hold, she only credited the phone £1 instead of £20. when I phoned back again they said they would let me have the £1 as a gesture of goodwill!!!! this has taken weeks to sort out and everytime you phone them it costs 25p!! total rip off.

Have you thought about writing to their complaints department?? I had some real problems with getting my phone ungraded and the like earlier in the year and was really annoyed with them as I'd planned to changed networks but when they came up with a great package I decided to stay. Back fired a bit when they failed to deliver   Decided to send letter complaints department detailing what had happened and telling them that no matter what they offered me when my contract next came up for renewal I would not be continuing with them... recieved a call about 2 weeks after I sent the letter and a very appologetic lady gave me 2 months free line rental to make up for the poor service :T

Might be worth a go  who knows they might refund you some more

was a problem with the phone..their end. (daughters phone)emptied the credit (pay as you go) so I did get the money back. whats annoying is the amount of time it takes to get to speak to someone who knows what to do.
you have to take your chances on the menu...none of the options fit your problem. then you get through to an offshore call centre who cant understand my accent, eventually they give up and you get transfered to a uk call centre.....so you can explain the problem again. :( not impressed at all.
I'm with Virgin and never had a problem like that with them.

dogrose - hope you get things sorted. http://www.saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php list of Orange Freephone numbers. I've had issues with Orange before and ended up in contact with head office. Was a nightmare!!

GB - DS2 is 5, 6 next Saturday :) he's been rewarded (money in his piggy bank) but then tried to push his luck and stay up later!
One day I might be more organised...........

Oooops, it just shows how much I don't want to see the plastic surgeon next week, I have had it in my head that my appointment was the 21st January, just looked at the calendar and thought that's not right, the 21st is Sunday! Dug out my letter and it's Monday 22nd January! Which is the same day the guy is coming from the Planning Inspectorate. I know which is more important to me, them not building a bleeding great house next to my garden!

DH is not going to be happy with me :(

  • They 'acidently' cancelled my order for the phone because the guy on the other end of the phone didn't understand me. Had to call them about 5 times in the end on 3 different numbers to work out where the phone had been cancelled and who had done it, they wouldn't just reorder it they apparently had to track it  meant i was left without a phone though while they were messing about. I was really annoyed cos I've been with them for about 4 years and they just messed me around. Made a point in the letter about the number of calls to premium rate numbers I'd had to make and they gave me the free months to try and cover the cost. Saved me a bit in the long run but thats not really the point

Squosh that one - don't do bribery! Do the piggy bank but not the bedtime routine! He is a wee smart cookie I think! Do be manipulated.

:rotfl: he's sussed it, he says send it and we'll put it in the freezer when it gets here to make snow again, oh how lovely it would be to be 5 again and think you can fix anything! He even got his Nana to post him sand from the desert before, he didn't explain he wanted enough to fill a sand pit and was very unhappy when the ENVELOPE arrived!
Oh lil_me, that's lovely. Made me laugh then almost cry.
