Clever, hmm I usually call it 'Likes to push his luck and has an answer for everything' :rotfl: tonight he's decided he doesn't have to go to bed as he needs to keep me company especially if the power goes off again! Like heck is he!

Essex girl hope you feel better soon :)

To add a photo csarina click onto the Go Advanced options, there is a little icon 6th from the left above where the writing comes up which when you hover over it with the mouse will say Insert Image, click that and paste the URL for the image into there.

The image needs to be uploaded or already on the internet. If you haven't done that already the likes of https://www.photobucket.com are free.

Smoky must have crossed posts, but thanks for the reminder, I forgot to get the bolognese out of the freezer to make lasagne in the morning ready for tomorrows dinner! This site is so handy as I have a memory like a seive!

What is going on here tonight. I have just done a huge long post thanking all, mentioning all, sending love to all and it got totally lost. Can't do another 30 minutes re-typing so apologies. [Have just spent 20 mins doing shortened version.]

I gave special mention to Chardonney (same area as daughter but snow gone tonight), dlb about fence, mushypeas - dark horse - man on a train!; plus all of you who are poorly, having a hard time and especially experiencing trouble with the weather. We have got off relatively light in East Lothian with only very heavy rain this morning.

Was in work at 8.15 and a wee problem occurred and there until after 6.00 tonight. At least I get time off.

Had a very OS tea tonight as we are now spending more than DHs pension on outgoings. I am still working full-time so taking on some of the commitments as we don't want to cash in capital too early. It might have to last us a long time!

Valentine - hope everything goes OK tomorrow. I will be in touch but you will be so tired when you come home - a long day and mentally draining. Will be in touch via e-mail. Sorry to hear you still not too well with baby. Thought DD was OK but has been sick again last two mornings - she is 15 weeks tomorrow.

Kyle - thank goodness nothing went on flames last night - casseroled MP is least of your problems. Hope you have got rid of smell. I found years ago when DD set fire to wok (and newly decorated kitchen) took weeks of washing down walls and loads of candles to get rid of smell.

    Love and hugs to all

PS Hopefully this one goes or I give up. Just missed Eastenders typing this. Totally disgusted by CBB by the way. Wouldn't watch it to increase ratings. JG is a total A*****e! Didn't like her first time and certainly she hasn't endeared me this time.

GB if you copy it (by highlighting the text, right click then copy - just incase) then post it and if it doesn't show up you can just right click and paste it into a post again. I think it's still a problem with the site server as they were swapping everything over.

Good Evening All - hope we are well

Valentine BIG BIG (((((HUGS))))) my thoughts are with you for tomorrow. I took my DS to my nanna's funeral, as he knew her well, I thought he was old enough to understand. Bless him, be cried, and then he set other's off (the men mainly, who dont cry!) It was a very moving service. Im glad I took him though!

DS told me a friend of his from school got hit by a flying branch at school, bad enough to be taken to hospital. I just hope that others who have suffered with similar incidents are well!

lil_me, like the comment ref your friend's pills. I made a call the other day to a customer, he answered "is this cold calling?" - I said "no - its Emma calling!", He was lost for words - I laughed for ages after that. :rotfl:

Borrowed my mum's car, so OH can take mine to work, and I'll drive mum's. He will fetch his run-around car on Sunday! He had an early day yesterday and walked home. He fell on his way back, he has weak ankles, and can fall at any time. I couldnt stop laughing when he told me, it was a busy main road when it happened, first thing he did was get up and look to see if anyone saw! Isn't it amazing - thats what we do after a fall - look to see who was watching! :rotfl:

Mum's wedding invites are coming along great, just wish I could post a pic to show you all. When I get round to it, I will stick it on my avatar.

OK, best be off, watch the bill, then settle down to watch BB, Jade to go!!!!

    Goodnight all - take care
    love as usual
    Emma xxxx

 I'm in shock, spent ages doing DS2s (5) room today as he'd made it a tip and reorganised furniture, anyway within 15 minutes of being back home the floor was covered in toys, I said 'I hope you will tidy that all up' he said 'Yes' and here was me thinking yeah yeah whatever, I'll have to do it before bed. Just gone to put him to bed and he's tidied the lot up. He's even found a 'special place for shoes' as he called it which hides them out of the way and put them there very neatly  Me being more tidy and organised seems to be rubbing off on him! He's always helped with cleaning up but never without help :D I am impressed.

Crazychik I like it :rotfl: I must admit I usually wind cold callers up.

I forgot to say earlier, I had a nice surpirse today a cash repayment into my bank by Atlantic Gas and Electric of £38.......a thank you for staying with them for another year......I had done a search to see if we would benefit from a switch but most other companies wanted more, will run a little behind during the winter, but ahead in the summer so see no need to change........a boost to the holiday fund....yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well the snow here is almost gone too. its a slushy horribly mess out there.

today has been ...well stressful. found out I may have signed myself up for a course which is not suitable. there's no refunds...and it only cost £565!!!! waiting for word back to see if its going to be ok. what a night mare. this is the day after I scraped a pass in another course :( I was so upset I actually cried. mr dogrose bless him said dont worry about the money. whether you did the course or not you would have spent it so why worry? I said at least I would have had a certificate to show for it!! :(
then I had a battle with Orange mobile again. eventually got the refund but it took two calls because the first time, after nearly half an hour spent mostly on hold, she only credited the phone £1 instead of £20. when I phoned back again they said they would let me have the £1 as a gesture of goodwill!!!! this has taken weeks to sort out and everytime you phone them it costs 25p!! total rip off.

was so stressed didnt get any studying done, so tomorrow I will really have to knuckle down. have three more days off so should be able to make some progress.

lil_me - he has done good to tidy up - how old?! DD encourages boys to tidy up (as I do when here) and they are pretty good. Not easy. I should have done that when DS and DD were wee. I tended to just do the Mummy thing when they slept and became a bit of a dogsbody to be honest. However, DD's bedroom a total tip in teen years and so pleased how she had turned out. DGS2 on step today because having been told to stay beside Mummy he did a huge run down road in traffic at nursery pick up and thought it funny. (We keep telling him about busy cars - but no fear) - she was frightened but he is a kami kazzi boy compared to DGS1 if you know what i mean - totally different personalities. DGS2 has no fear!) DGS1 preoccupied with deqth just now as a friend's granny has just died. Difficult when you are just about 4. DD answering questions but not taking further. He announced today that he would never die. A difficult concept to take on board.

dogrose - hope you get course fees sorted out. Surely they will transfer to what you want to do.

    Hugs to all else.
