  • Morning Guys!

Its bloomin windy here:o Have a hospital appointment soon and will be blown away:eek:

Not feeling great today and didnt sleep well. Everything hurts!

WM & DW will go on later as theres not quite enough for either:D toilet has been cleaned and downstairs cleared through. We have no cleaner this week:eek:          so will spend some time cleaning (with OH's help) upstairs and the downstairs can be done tomorrow. Im sure it wont take long as after each shower I have been swishing around and keeping on top if it all.

The tiling in the kitchen looks wonderful and am so pleased with OH's hard work-it looks so much brighter in there. Once done, I will post a picture;)

I have to go and get dressed for the hospital and have another cuppa.

    Breakie: Toast & marmite
Lunch: Baked Spud, Ham and salad
Dinner: Shepards Pie, cabbage and carrots

    Hugs to all.

  • Good morning all -

Thanks for your good wishes and congrats yesterday.

Have been at hospital most of the night with OH. He has had pains in his chest, down his left arm and tingling in his left hand. Got him to hospital and his blood pressure was 240 over 105!!!!! They did a trace and gave him a spray under his tongue. They did bloods and x rays and gave me a scare over the poss of heart attack but in the middle of the night they decided it was angina. I don't know much about angina but I am frightened.

I can't believe we were rowing over the DW and loo roll just a few hours ago. We were meant to be having our big chat today but looks like that won't happen now!!!

Well not much OS going on here but I do have to go and find out about diets and stuff - not Slimming World - doc thinks WW would be better, too confused to think straight at the mo.

Sorry to hear about your kitchen Kyle - I once went out and left eggs on to boil - got a call from the neighbour telling me that the fire brigade were at my house. No real damage just a nasty smell and smoke. But very unpleasant to think what may have happened.

    Love to all

    Louise

  • Morning everyone :hello:

Blowing a gale here today. It's recycling day today and the street is awash with cardboard, paper, plastics and box-lids. I'm glad I didn't put mine out last night - at least I know none of it is mine (so far  ).

Didn't sleep either because of the weather so it will probably be a long day today.

Pooky like you, I will be using the last of the Christmas turkey today. Glad to make some more room in the freezer as it is full to bursting.

JackieO would love to visit Washington. I'm a HUGE West Wing fan and would love to see all those beautiful buildings that are shown regularly on the show.

jellycat ((((hugs)))) hope you start to feel a bit calmer soon. Hope DH is feeling better soon too.

Stay safe out there people. Take care. xx

    Hi all.
Well it's blowing so badly here I've decided to keep the children home. I hope I'm not being a bad mother - but the wind is so strong it's a little frightening.
I've a client later today (case study) so I'll need to do my flying this morning. We used the chamomile and lavender in Aromatherapy yesterday and as we were all using the same blend the room was filled with the aroma of these two oils and we were all incredibly sleepy by the afternoon - and I still feel heavily sedated today, lol.
I also need to meal plan for the week and order my shopping. I didn't do a home delivery last week so I was back and forth to the supermarket through the week - and lost track of my spending. I'll also go through my purse and see if I can piece that together :D
JackieO - I hope all goes well today when your lovely has the brace removed
Jellycat - ((hugs)) thinking of you and your DH
HAven't read yesterdays thread but am intrigued to know what happened to Kyle. Can I resist until my housework is done????
Best wishes to everyone & lots of love & hugs,
    Kaz x

    Good Morning All -

Wet & very windy here, not looking forward to the school run

Jellycat, sorry to hear about DH, perhaps it might things into prospective now ref the DW & loo rolls. I no my nanna suffered with angina, but dont really know too much to advise you. Could you pick up some leaflets from the doctors? or perhaps browse the internet!

I woke up twice during the night, not because of the security light, like DLB said, think it was sub-concious thinking the light will be on.

The nurse said the side affects to me taking these tablets is having nightmares - she's not wrong!

Anyway, best be off, and get showered

    Take care
    Love as usual xxx

  • Good Morning!

Big hugs to jellycat at this worrying time, and plenty more for anybody else who wants one!

Not too sure what to do with myself today - will take things easy I think. The flapjacks that I made on Tuesday have about gone, so may bake some muffins, but if I don't, I'll descale the kettle instead! Like I said, nothing too strenuous :p
My BIL and SIL are coming round to see me today, but not sure when exactly - another reason why I can't really plan anything. I'm sure they'll be here for a while as SIL can talk the hind legs off a donkey! :rotfl:

Hope everybody has a good day, and for those who are venturing out - good luck!

    Good morning everyone

It's cold and very windy in County Antrim this morning.

We will be taking our dud TV round to Tesco later today for either a replacment or a full refund.

After that we will probably relax in front of the TV. It sounds like we do this a lot but due to health/medication we are usually both very tired late afternoon or evening.

Hope everyone has a good day
    :)
