Quick question about payouts?
I have received an offer from Natwest for 4 Loans, today I have recieved a payment into our current account for the smallest two, NET of interest! Has anyone else been paid in this way or do we think they have messed up?

I posted on the successes board but to keep the information on the Natwest thread - I had confirmation on Saturday that my claim on three loans had been upheld. The letter was dated 15th Feb, which made it exactly 5 weeks since the complaint had been lodged by telephone (followed up by one FOS questionnaire for each loan). Reason for complaint was single, front-loaded premium.

Unlike DLT I had to send written confirmation of acceptance back to the standard PPI department in Manchester. I phoned to check whether they would accept verbal acceptance - they don't. That's gone back to them today by 2nd class post in the prepaid envelope.

The letter said 28 days standard SLA to process payment, nothing on method. I'll confirm on that and timescales once it's all done and dusted - hopefully BACS as I have an active current account.

hi kafkaesque how did you get on with your 28 day wait. ive just sent off signed acceptence of goodwill offer on 21/4/2012.

are there still big delays claiming now as as posts i find are from late last year/ early this year

I know this post is a bit old now but ... If it helps I posted my settlement acceptance on Sunday 21st July

Got a text message on Friday 27th July saying they had received my form.

a second text message on Wednesday 1st August to say payment had gone on to my card and would reach it within 7 days (It showed up 2 days later on Friday 3rd August). and if a positive balance occurred that a cheque would be requested and sent which would take a further 10 days.

I've not had the cheque yet, but at least they've paid up in some capacity.

Just waiting for them to pay my loan PPI back now, sent the letter a week ago. So I imagine I'll see that in the next couple of weeks and 'll be debt free, yay!

Ive just posted my acceptance letter in the envelope enclosed - does anyone if this was prepaid, i posted it without even thinking to look now im panicking!

Don't panic mine I posted off on Friday was pre-paid second class. I chose to post it from the post office recorded though so I could track it, but of course had to pay for that privilege.

Got a text message this morning confirming they have received it and "that they typically expect to make payment within 28 days of receipt"

So back to the waiting game for me.
