I've been one of the lucky ones received offer 5th nov and replied 2nd class immediately. Money went in bank account 14th the day before i received texts firstly confirming it'd been paid and secondly warning me of delays.Confused but happy!!!
Still waiting response for other loans though.
Does anyone know approx ppi price on a £10k loan?
If you know your interest rate and the length of term put the figures in the calculator here and it will tell you how much it would cost in total WITHOUT PPI So anything more on your agreement is likely to be PPI

Hi Everyone,
Just stumbled across your pages whilst looking for Mr Hester's email address. I've just sent an email off to him and ron.teerlink@rbs.co.uk after reading through your posts... fingers crossed!
I'm on working day 51 now waiting for my payment and after this afternoon's phone call to PPI Concerns though I needed to elevate my complaint. After the phone call had ended, I didn't hang up and could hear the PPI Team chatting amongst themselves about whether they were going to 'bother' picking up any more phone calls (you could hear the phone line ringing away in the back ground). Makes me sick...
Anyway, if this doesn't do the trick I'll email MP and Watchdog and then maybe FSA.
Well, it just shows you it pays to kick off!
Mr Teerlink's office have forwarded my complaint to the PPI Executive Complaints Office (didn't know there was such a thing) who say they'll come back to me by the beginning of next week with an update on my payment...... Meanwhile..... a payment of £1,080 has been applied to my loan account:jnot anything like the total amount owed but it's a move in the right direction at least!!:T Natwest Loan PPI Claim Upheld Sep 11 £11,840 - Paid 25/11/11 :T0 -

As I said in a previous post - I shan't hold my breath - just as well I haven't.
After emails to the terrible twosome and a phone call to the PPI team I'm still waiting..........
Well done Barmy on getting yours out of them!0 -
Hello, new here. Have read through this thread to try and understand how natwest pay out.
I have been given an offer for several ppi loans today. I have a loan with natwest which is up to date and a credit card with Mint which is in arrears.
So my question is: given the settlement is for old loans and not the current one, will natwest put the money in my current account or against the current loan ( which never had ppi) or on my Mint card?
Thanks0 -

Hi Andy, I was similar circumstances, claim on old Natwest card, but currently have mint card in arrears. Spoke to ppi team this week and my refund was credited back to my Natwest card, so now a cheque will be generated. Happy days!0 -
It was intersting reading comments about NatWest, for me I am still waiting for the cheque its almost 4 months for me since the accepteance offer and I was told its being sent to the payment team.
still no sight of the cheque.0 -
Hi all,
I am just wondering if anyone knows how long it should take for the Natwest to send an acknowledgment letter for a PPI claim. I contacted Natwest by their telephone number on their website on 9th Nov 2011 re two missold PPI's. Gave them all the details and was told that I should receive two acknowleding letters for my claims. Tomorrow is 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. From reading other posts maybe I am being a bit optimistic, but thought I'd check if anyone had any ideas.
I was going to wait until next week (4 weeks) and try ringing again.0 -
Despite emailing and telephoning them last week I'm still waiting.
Well over the statutory 28 days for me now :-|
Anyone else had any luck? It would seem that their filing system for receipts of acceptances is tits up. Others who have sent acceptances back after me have been paid.0
