The PPI team told me it was done "FIRST COME FIRST SERVED" this is not happening.
They also told me that if the money was not received within 56 working days you are entitled to take it to the FOS.
I hope you get it soon0 -
got my money through, my acceptance was received by bank on 17/10/2011, and payment was made to my credit card on 14/11/2011, 20 working days in total.
they do not seem to be doing them in any order at a;l as there are others on here who had sent there acceptance forms back before me.
good luck to all those waiting.0 -
We got paid with 9 weeks of making the initial claim. Was informed at the start of last week about my settlement and the payment was made to the account on Thursday. Can't believe how quick it's been.
Question for all.
I was under the impression that RBS would look at all loans I had with them. Is this true? as i have't heard anything.
I realise that they view credit cards.0 -
managed to get through to the 0800 number a few days ago ...at long last! they said my estimated date would be 29th November ...2 months and 13 days after sending my acceptance letter.
Finally got a text this morning saying payment is being processed and checked my online banking and it has! Happy Days!! Not impressed with the waiting though!
Good luck everyone0 -
OH just got paid out by RBS, started claim with phone call to rbs ppi helpline on the 30/8/2011, upheld letter arrived on the 12/11/2011, returned signed on the 14/11/2011. She got txt today saying money in her account within 7 days. Just checked account and money in now. :j:j:j:beer: £6,836.400

Hi guys
exactly 8weeks to the day that natwest recieved my acceptance forms, been on the phone again today, same old bull, were processing sept acceptances, should get my money by end of month. When i explained that a relative of mine had sent there acceptance in october for a larger amount than mine and had been payed the phone suddenly went dead.
Ive also tried emailing just about everyone within rbs,but alas with no response,so failing chaining myself to the head offices of rbs im running out of options.Anyone got any ideas, or do i just sit here patiently waiting for the day they can be bothered to pay me0 -
Hi Everyone,
Just stumbled across your pages whilst looking for Mr Hester's email address. I've just sent an email off to him and ron.teerlink@rbs.co.uk after reading through your posts... fingers crossed!
I'm on working day 51 now waiting for my payment and after this afternoon's phone call to PPI Concerns though I needed to elevate my complaint. After the phone call had ended, I didn't hang up and could hear the PPI Team chatting amongst themselves about whether they were going to 'bother' picking up any more phone calls (you could hear the phone line ringing away in the back ground). Makes me sick...
Anyway, if this doesn't do the trick I'll email MP and Watchdog and then maybe FSA.:T Natwest Loan PPI Claim Upheld Sep 11 £11,840 - Paid 25/11/11 :T0 -
I've emailed the terrible twosome as well - still awaiting a reply!
Yesterday I managed to get through to the helpline - this is where the fun starts ;-)
Explained which claim I was calling about - ah yes, Each Uisge, we recieved your signed acceptance on "yada" date, which means your twenty eight days were up on "yada" date. Your twenty eight days are up so you should receive payment within the next 4 weeks. Thank you for that information says I, but could you explain why I am having to wait for the payment for this claim? A second claim I had with your good selves, for which the acceptance was posted back after the acceptance for the claim we've just spoken about, has already been paid out........
Honestly, you could hear the cogs turning in his brain! ;-) lol
Ah well, now, you see, your claim is for a current loan which makes it more complicated to work out and we're awaiting the final figures. Eh?! So I politely explained that the current loan has been adjusted and this was done so on 3rd October. Much stuttering from RBS person on the other end of the phone.
I realised that I really was not going to get any further with this, so politely thanked him for his time and terminated the call.
Just thought I would share my experience with you all!0 -
Received a reply to my email too but didn't see it until this morning (I'd sent it from my works account). Was from the following email address - thought it might be worth sharing on here for others to make use of:PPI.ExecutiveConcerns@rbs.co.uk
Saying that they'll investigate my concerns, apologising for the delay, etc etc.
Wonder how long it will take now - I shan't hold my breath!0 -
I've been one of the lucky ones received offer 5th nov and replied 2nd class immediately. Money went in bank account 14th the day before i received texts firstly confirming it'd been paid and secondly warning me of delays.Confused but happy!!!
Still waiting response for other loans though.
Does anyone know approx ppi price on a £10k loan?0
