  • Oh I remember that one. No it wasn't one of mine. it was already on as a selection when I bought the digital. I used to take a lot of photos, mainly trees, woods etc. I really enjoyed it too, with a 35mm camera. Now I just don't seem to have the time anymore. Was really pleased with these one's though. The sky had an eerie glow about it, as you can see, and I just had to take some piccies. :D

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.

  • Hello

Just got a breadmaker from freecycle so hopefully will start at the weekend when I had a chance to go to the shop.

    Beautiful pictures Dizzy

  • Thanks Wendy...
I love the idea of a breadmaker but I know me I'd never use it. I got a new slow cooker a few months ago, the last one fell off the shelf and I still haven't used it, I just like the thought. To be honest anything that's veggie will cook just as well and quick in a pan or oven and it's not going to be used for any meat dishes! Must make an attempt to use it. Let us know how you get on with the breadmaker Wendy.
Took £200 out of the bank today. Will take the rest out tomorrow and pay off Debt 2. I've no doubt I'll get a statement next month with the balance of a few pence on it, I think it might be to do with the crossover of paying the balance and then still having that bit of interest added on whilst it's clearing. iykwim. But it will be gone tomorrow!!!!! Hmmm so overdraft will go up again tomorrow. I hate that now.

That's good that your hating the overdraft because it'll give you the incentive to get shot of it. Can't wait until the debt is paid, just think how much you've achieved in such a short time. Everyone starts the new year with big positive ideas but most people get bored easily and 'fall off the wagon' so well done you for keeping yourself motivated.
  • Aw thanks GR...I really can't wait to get rid of them both now. I still have that funny feeling regarding being debt free, and I still can't place what it is
Feel like I want to be doing more with my evenings such as painting again, crotcheting, but by the time I'm settling for the evening I seem to be too zoned out to do anything...

I felt like that as well. I still get panicky regarding money - I'm scared that I'm going to get tempted to have a blow out again and find myself in the same boat again.

As for the evenings, I certainly know what you mean. I've got loads of things I need to do around the house and read some books but I just can't be bothered.

I need a very large injection of enthusiasm. I'm going through the phase where I don't want to be in my house at the moment. I want to move into a nice new house thats all decorated and easier to look after than my current old, large house with a massive garden!!!!
  • It must be the weather then GR. Dark nights that keep us in, having to wear our warm coats outside instead of feeling the sun on us...well that's my excuse.
Is there anything you could be doing to your home to get rid of that feeling? I hate gardening, OH enjoys it so he does it. How do you cope with the garden too?! Mind you, they are nice to sit in aren't they :D
I wonder if that's what I'm feeling about being debt free, but you've put it into words? I have a savings account with bonuses. Was over 20 years and it's finished in about three now but it's for the children. I might start an Isa like you GR and see something for my money. Decisions decisions...
Would be something to focus on though. You're doing so well with yours :D
We have an ISA but it's something to do with the mortgage which will be paid off in about three and a half years so not long to go. Then we'll be mortgage free too. Think OH will be very happy about that!
Well I bought some nail hardener today so will try to stop nibbling my nails. How boring does that sound? I've got a bag of stuff under the dining table to ebay and I still haven't got round to it.
Hope your evening is a bit more exciting than mine GR :D

My evening is pretty boring. I don't think there's anything I can do to change the way I feel about my house. I've not been happy here for a while, but at the moment whilst I'm struggling as a single-parent there's no chance of me moving.

I really should be having a tidy up tonight, have got a few girls coming round tomorrow night but I just can't be bothered. Am sitting here watching rubbish on TV and catching up with everybody's debt diaries.
  • :D That sounds just like me. Maybe we need a vitamin boost or something.
It's not fair that being a single parent stops you from moving if you wanted to. Where's that lottery win when we need one?
I think I'll have an early night and snuggle down to reading my book later.

  • Well I've done it. I've listed some stuff on ebay. Took ruddy ages!!!!
I don't hold out much hope but still it's done now so I can stop moaning about not doing it! :D
