HHHEEEELLLLLLLLOOOOO there Diz, where the heck have you been. Don't seem to have spoken to you in ages.

Amazon is really easy to use, you've got to give it a go. Glad e-bay was a success though, are you going to be listing more now?

:hello: Hello Chix...I must admit I don't feel like I've posted as much as usual. Think it's because I've just been so tired and a bit listless. I think I will put some more bits on ebay. See what I can find. You've convinced me about amazon so I might sort some college books out. They're creative crafts ones, teacher resources stuff. Really great ideas in them but I don't use them anymore and they're just in my wardrobe. I think it might be time to let them go.
DS is hankering to come on...he should be going to bed. He's just remembered he's homework to do on here...any excuse.
Keep well and catch you tomorrow. Have a great tuesday.

Well not much to report. Spent a bit of money, phone credit and other bits. Will get some back from DD tomorrow, fingers crossed. :D
Reading shopaholic baby at the moment and it's very funny.
Lots of people off work today with tummy bugs...hope it's not going round. I'll pass on that if I can.
Been looking on amazon for a vegan slow cooker recipe book but only one on and I don't fancy that one. Want to start using my slow cooker. Have had it for months and still not used it.
    Really bored at the moment.
Got two lucky dips for tonight,so fingers crossed. Hmmm not hopeful though. Ah well you never know.
    Hope everyone is okay.

Hey as they say 'You've got to be in it to win it'. I've got 2 lines on for tonight and would love to win a little something if only a tenner (although more would be useful!!!)

Hope your lucky with the slow cooker book, have you tried to google a slow cooker recipe? You may be lucky.
  • Hi

I dont know how many will be suitable for vegans but I do have 470 american slow cooker recipes I can email you, just PM if interested.

You noticed the tent, we took up camping a couple of years ago mostly to save money but it is fun. Thing is we take everything with us so need a big tent. The one in the Avater is 8 by 4 m and a bit of a struggle to put up. Determined to use it this year if budget allows. A folding camper sounds great.

Hope you both had luck on the lotto.

Hello GR...well I won £10 on wednesday but DD was out last night so I got her a phone top up with it...ah well easy come easy go.
It's free listings on ebay this weekend aside from photos but I think I'd rather use the time to have a go at amazon. I do get a few vegan recipes from googling GR, there are some good vegan sites out there but just fancied a book with them all in one place, I could print them off and make my own recipe book if we had any ink in the printer lol
Hello Wendy...thanks for the lovely offer Wendy but it's okay, I'll have a look at the other book sites and see what I can find.
Our first family tent before the camper was a vango vista 800 dlx brilliant size but a nightmare to put up, especially in windy weather. Would look like a hot air balloon everytime there was a gust of wind. Happy days. We love Cornwall. We got a book called 'undiscovered Cornwall' It has loads of places off the beaten track where you can find sacred stones and magic wells etc. OH and I love going on mystical/historical jaunts but the children as they got older really didn't like to. "It's boring, do we have to walk through those fields" etc etc ah well they've got their memories. I would definately recommend a folding camper, I wish we'd bought ours when the children had been younger though to get the most out of it. If you go on ebay and put in 'folding camper' you can see the different ones available.
    Hope everyone keeps well

Hiya GR...I'm all right tar. Hmmm I did go to asda yesterday and spent £60 and £20 one night. Can't remember now!!! But I have got meals with it and shouldn't need to buy anything else except bread, but I have spent more than I have been doing! So not pleased about that and feeling a bit miffed. Hence overdraft going up. Nevermind. We break up for Easter next thursday and I'm so ready for it. I just don't seem to have any energy at the moment?!
I'm going to have a look for some books to put on amazon later. You said amazon work out the P&P. How and when do they do that GR. I really want to do it, especially when I see how well you're doing, it's worth it isn't it? Mind you my books might not sell...
Oh I'm just fed up at the moment. Made some brocolli and cauliflower soup for my tea. It's lovely, might give me some needed vitamins.
Hope you're okay. Your totals are amazing at the moment. Good on you GR.:D

Amazon is dead easy. All you do is put in how much you want to sell your book for, you don't have to worry about P&P because if you sell your book for £1 then Amazon will charge the buyer £3.50 which inludes the P&P. It's dead easy. I was selling the books for 10p in a car boot sale and so far I've made nearly £40.

I knew you'd been to Asda, I had a gut feeling that you were disappointed in the OD increasing and I'm going to say what I say every month - stop worrying about the OD, worry about the debts first then when they are paid off we'll worry about the OD.

I think the low energy is to do with the time of year, the weather is still quite cold and miserable. At least you've got half term to look forward to, I've only got Good Friday and Easter Monday off :(
