Well done. If it only earns you a couple of quid its a couple of quid you wouldn't have had if you hadn't made the effort. I've got a confession to make! Didn't get round to listing any more books on Amazon!!!!! Can't do it tonight as couple of girls calling round but will try and do it by the end of the week.
  • Hello GR...Thanks :D
Oh you naughty girl not listing...only joking I know how you feel.
I bet you have a great time tonight, you deserve a relaxed chilling out time. I expect there will be a little wine flowing??
Well I did it...I went to the bank after work and paid £325.27p off debt 2 :j
I'm expecting a balance of a couple of pence or so next month because of how the interest is put on, might be wrong though. But as far as figures go I guess it's gone...And the best thing is I'm still £92.32 ahead on last month. I suppose I must be being careful but to be honest I've spent a bit on magazines, usually ones for DD. Though today I bought that 'Yours' magazine...lol am I getting old or what, next I'll be buying Womans Realm (actually I have bought that once or twice)!!!
I've got a couple of watchers on my ebay stuff but that doesn't mean anything. I do that sometimes just to see what price they sell for. But as you say a couple of quid is better than a poke in the eye.So all in all I feel a bit more positive today. I'm really hungry too even though I took a wedge of my veggie pie to work for lunch. Don't know what I fancy though?!
    Will pop in later.

  • Oooooo look at your totals, debt 2 is non-existent. Well done you!!! Ive been waiting for this day all month.

Well done on the e-baying, I hope you make a fair bit. I've still not done any listing on Amazon but I have had a letter off Halifax who are going to look into the charges I've paid on the credit card account. The account is now closed so I don't have to worry about them insisting I pay it all off. However, saying that some of the charges were for £12 which apparently is acceptable now. I've still asked for them back though, if you don't ask you don't get.

Hope you've had a restful evening.
  • Aw thanks GR...I'm glad it's gone. Still got the watchers so hopefully I might sell something.
Good luck with the charges, at least you're having a go, hope you get something back. More for the ISA.:D
Glad you're night was a good one.
    Keep well.

Thanks Diz. I used to be so scared of trying to claim anything back but since I've been on here I really don't care. Whats the worse they can do? Say No and then I've lost nothing.

Keep us posted in the e-bay stuff.

    Have a good day hun

  • Hiya GR...hope you're okay. No bids yet on ebay but more watchers.
I've not done very well moneywise. Spent some money on phone credit for myself and DD and been to the co-op. No idea though how it's jumped so high. But I am still up £77.12p and if I don't draw any more out on saturday I will be up £97. from last month. And herien lies the problem...I just think then I can spend a bit more because I'm better off than I was last month instead of focussing on having the overdraft even lower once the last debt is paid off next month which is nearly £400 I'll be paying!!!! Arghh I get so cross with myself, but still do it. I need to put a cap on my spending. Maybe try to stick to not going over £1,200 like last month. Just feel a bit fed up again :(
    I'll be okay tomorrow.

Oh chick don't be fed up your doing a fantastic job. Look how much you've paid off in the first 2 months of the year. Just think how much better off you'll be the second half of the year (which is only 4 months away).

You can do this so don't you dare give up on me girl!!!

Catch you later and think positive :)

Thanks GR. I'll try. With you behind me I can't fail can I? :D You know when you just get that feeling though.
I'm really tired today. DD went out last night with some college friends and I always pick her up, it's not usually on a school night though, picked them up at 2.45am. Got to bed at 4am!!! Then she had me drop them off at one of girls houses to stay. Just going to zonk out tonight, haven't got the energy to do anything else and I do like to get my shopping done on friday so I've got the weekend free.
Ooh some good news I've got bids on 2 of my ebay items, one's for 99p and the other is for £2 :D Better than nothing and you never know they might go up. They finish on sunday.
Very windy here today and drizzling.
Hope you had a good day GR. Weekend at last :D

Wow!! Just checked in and saw your new total. One debt obliterated! Well done you. The next one will be gone very soon too.

Hope the bids go up a bit on your ebay items. When do they end?
    Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.62

  • Hello Seaxwyn
Thanks...they end on sunday. If I make a little it's more than I'm making whilst they're under the dining table :D
I am pleased about one debt going. Think it'll sink in a bit more when the others gone.
Hope you're well and keeping warm in this rotten weather.
