Didn't go in work today. Woke up with a headache that went to a migraine. Was really shaky too with it. In fact the last migraine I had I was a bit shaky then too. Anyway started to feel better in the afternoon but I can just feel a vague pressure over my left eye, usually it starts over my right one. I think I need to go for another eye test. It's not due yet and I only wear glasses for reading but I think I may need them at other times too. Not that I mind wearing them, I do like glasses, just not having to pay out the money for them and the test...
Hope everyone is okay and keeping warm in this stormy weather.

I've got glasses too, supposed to only wear them for reading but sometimes I wear them if I want to be taken seriously

Sorry youve been unwell. Glasses are expensive. I have needed them for reading for years but for the last few months I wear them almost all the time. Need a test myself but cant face the bill for the latest perscription I need.

If your getting headaches though especially migraines then you had better bite the bullet and have a test.

Thanks guys. I think a trip to the opticians is in the offing...when though...don't want to spend any extra money.
I've worked out my finances and I'm hoping that come June payday I, hopefully, will be a few hundred pounds in credit!!! and I'll have no debts. I still see my overdraft as being in debt which it is really.
Got to focus on this now. I was hoping I'd be in credit by a bit in May but don't think that's going to happen. If it does then all well and good, if not then it's June. Not too far away I guess.
Going to fill my hot water bottle and get to bed. Going to work tomorrow. I look dreadful but feel a lot better.

Good morning Diz, hope your feeling better this morning. I had a really early night last night and I still feel really tired.

June is 3 months away and its not long honestly. Look how well you've done in the first 3 months of the year and that time has flown.

Keep ploughing away, you'll get there and if it takes a little longer than anticipated then that doesn't matter as long as your heading in the right direction, which you are.

Well you'll be pleased with me. I've booked an appointment at the opticians for tomorrow 3pm. My test isn't due till July but because we pay she said they can bring it forward. So I'll see what happens tomorrow. I so don't want to be spending any money but when it's your health I guess that comes first...I'm always losing my glasses though. I've got a lovely pair floating around the house but no idea were they are...
Today I took my Talking Partners Group into our sea room (its painted blue with multi coloured fishes on the wall) and about 10 minutes later in walks a group of people for an official meeting...yes there was an A4 size notice on the door to say the room had been booked and I never even saw it. Luckily they saw the funny side...is my eyesight that bad!!!!!
Well the amazon chap hasn't replied to my email so I don't know what to do now. I'll just wait a couple of days more then post and hope for the best.
GR I think I'm going to have to chill out about the overdraft. LIke you say I've achieved a lot in a short space of time so I should be happy with that really.
Will just check my lottery tickets and see if Lady Luck has shined on me...

Hi chick, your right you can't scrimp when it comes to your health, best to get it sorted.

I only had one number on the lottery myself last night, I keep telling myself that I'm not meant to win on a Wednesday as the jackpot is more on a Saturday!!!!

Not doing anything here. During the day I think - when I get home I'm going to do this, that and the other and then I get home, have tea, bath and veg out. Where has all my energy gone?

I'm bored stiff as well, just packaged up a book that I sold on Amazon today so that'll be in the post tomorrow and done my letter to egg. The bu99ars won't give me my charges back. It's £100 and I want it for my ISA. They are very quick in responding so I'm hoping they'll read my letter be very afraid and refund the full amount. I mean to say £100 is nothing to them is it?

I've also been having a little nosy around on the internet and it appears that boyfriend has had an offer made on his house !!!!! I'm hoping that it goes through OK and his stress levels will settle down so we can pick up where we left off, then again part of me is thinking - where is he going to live?????
