I wonder if TCP has got planning permission to put up cameras...

    ...I doubt it.

The company's finances look grim, lets hope the banks call the loans in!

    http://companycheck.co.uk/company/SC138255

    Net Worth : £-343,273

A company’s Net Worth is calculated as Shareholders Funds minus Intangible Assets. £-343,273 is from the accounts filed in 2011.

Looks like people have stopped paying these onanists.

SIC classification: ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES & CONSULTANCY

    I'll correct that:

    SIC classification: EXTORTIONISTS

There's no VAT number on their unenforceable invoice either! They must be VAT registered I'd have thought.

I complained to Asda about this charge and they basically fobbed me off and referred me to the scammers.

I didn't mention who was driving. I am not telling anyone who was driving, unless they pay me a fee of £125 to check my records.

However the e-mail from Olly Bausor, Executive Relations, Asda contains the following:

We also use Town and City Parking to defend against the abuse of disabled/Parent and Child spaces and customers who are parking in a manner that causes a nuisance or danger to other users. The deterrent in this case is a Fixed Penalty Notice or parking fine which will be issued to abusers of the car park.

Oops, did Asda use the word "fine"?

    LOL!

Hey Asda it's an unenforceable invoice.

Anyway I look forward to playing bullsh*t bingo with the letters from TCP.

And, of course, it's not a "fixed penalty notice".
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Do these jerk parking companies pay full postage costs for all their lavatory paper?

If so, there's one good thing to come out pf the recent postage rises.

If I sent them an empty envelope with nothing in it and no stamp, how much will they have to pay to receive the envelope in the hope there's a cheque in it? I'd pad the envelope to make it look like there's something in it.

They also used the word penalty, two for one!

seeing as youve opened up acomunications channel to ASDA you could also go downt he harrasment route, play it as ASDA have asked, and contact the parking monkeys once the threast start rolling in ie from a powerless debt recovery company, tlee the debt company and ASDA that the debt is denied as it is unlawful for private companys to charge a peanlty charge/fine and that you consider these letters to be harrasment under the protection from haarasment act, and you are holding ASDA jointly liable for the actions of their agents.
also refer back to the original reply with the words penalty and fine.

Based on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZg7SI7xAY0&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL1704B631F230BAC1 I could e-mail these idiot scammers if I receive a few more letters, something like:

    To whom it may concern,

I received notification of a parking charge your company believe you can charge me, the registered keeper, for my car being parked in the Asda Store in Bootle.

Firstly your so called notice is nothing but an attempt to frighten people into paying your invalid charges. The so called notice is not legally binding as no contract agreed or implied has been entered into as I cannot confirm I was the driver of the vehicle at that time.

I would like to draw your attention to the following article and believe that as your company is a private company and is not associated with either the local council or police authority, your charge is invalid.

I have not and will never enter in to any contract agreed or implied with your company nor have I broken any law or statute. I have returned your notice clearly marked "No Contract Return To Sender" as I have no wish to enter into contract with your company.

Further action on my part will incur charges which be chargeable to your company and my charges will be invoiced at the following rates...

Initial Charge of £250 then £100 each time I have to respond in relation to this matter. All legal expenses and costs will be charged in addition to the above charges. Pursuing this matter will trigger these charges and by doing so, your company agrees to these terms.

I look forward to your response within 7 days.

    Regards,

    Scumhater

I will hang fire for now. I will let them waste a few more 50p second class postage rates first!

The car parking company are only a bit player, you should realy be gunning for those who think its appropiate to allow them to opperate on their land, in this case ASDA at Bootle.
As ASDA are jointly liable for the actions of their agents, then you should try and make it so that ASDA see TCP not as a solution to manageing a car park, but a case of seing them as a liability and a problematic parasite thats infected thier car park.
