Adamantine can I just reiterate what Wilf55 said - the best thing you can do is to get every single record together, and in order before you go to the Ombudsman - a logical and comprehensive complaint will always achieve a better result. All the best with that.

Meanwhile, TV decluttering going better than reduction of ironing mountain!

    Right

    House has been blitzed
Kitchen floor now drying, broken my mop, run out of star drops as well, but I think OH has been using them to clean his motorbike, but at least that is clean as well.
Cleaned the oven and all the racks
    Lego got.
Postman and his dog talked to, ball thrown for the dog.
Neighbour and 2 kids talked to, they are now car cleaning.
Meters read, figures entered on line, so I expect a bill as they emailed me asking for uptodate figures.

    To go
    Ironing
Fill in relevant dates on next years 'cat' calender bought for £1 off the local market this morning.
Clean car inside and outside, or bribe next doors kids to do it!!
Cut lawn if it dries out.

How is everyone else getting on?

    Good going kaz :)

One load of washing done and on the line. DW filled and done. Various bits of garden tidied - sweetpeas pulled up, one bed dug over and half of it mulched with spent compost from peppers and aubergines that are over. Pots that had busy lizzies in them being piled up for the compost to be disposed of at the tip (they all had some kind of disease that made them melt this year, and I don't want to risk it infecting the garden). Tools taken out of shed and part of shed swept. I'm going to have to sort it out in sections, but I want to get the garden furniture put away right at the back.

Stopped for a drink... Better get back to the shed and see what I can get done by lunchtime! After lunch I'll go to the farm shop for veg, and maybe into town to drop off my dry cleaning and get some coal.

  • Good morning (just!) :D

I had a lie in this morning as there was no art :j I did a little reading before i dragged myself out of bed. I have emptied the DW & restacked and DH is fitting the new toilet seat downstairs as I type :T

I need to plan what we are eating this week, and do a shopping list. I think I am buying less, but as I don't really know what I was spending before it is hard to tell :o The house is fairly tidy :) DD2 has sorted her room (her sister is coming home today, and she needed to hide all the evidence of wearing her clothes/using her stuff!). i have told her to remove the 'science experiments' from her room (have been telling her for a week or so, and they are now mutating ) before I put the DW on again. it will also cause (another) argument with DD1 if she doesn't
i also need to get to town to buy DS football boots, a new school rugby shirt & a coat at some point, as well as a food shop.

Ok - i am off now to do something useful (not sure what yet :o)

Morning all, wm and dw on here. Food shop got last night so fridge was cleaned out this morning, not as much wasted as i thought but i'm gonna try this week to waste nothing. ;)

One bin bag of rubbish gathered up so OH can put it out for me and DS1 can take the recycling out.:D

Right cuppa and then i'll carry on.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • im going to jump in the shower and then go to the supermarket as need bread and milk and kracken is on offer and my mum has asked me to get one for my brothers christmas so being the good girl that i am off i go :p
  • new toilet seat fitted :j (and tested!)
    1 load in WM

DH cutting grass :T (much easier to poo pick with short grass :))
I still need to do my shopping list. DD1 due to be picked up from station at about 2pm, so it has cut the day in half a bit (not enough time to shop before then). She then wants dropping somewhere, and probably wants picking up again :( (I must dig out my 'mum's taxi' sign for the top of the car!) I may take the dog for a walk when i drop them off, as it is near the nature reserve (less petrol used then)

    Hey all

    Lego collected
College books ordered from WH smith while we were there and had a voucher for £5 off - which would have been great if DS hadnt talked me into buying him new books which were being signed by the author... *rolleyes*

Also went to Mr A and picked up a few bits.
Toothfairy came to give DS £1 last night and collect a tooth, so he went to gamestation and got 2 new PS2 games...

    Shopping has been put away,
    Food decluttered
    WM refilled
    Dishes done

I have somne ironing in the basket so think I may treat myself to some ironing :(
