Not long back from the hairdressers, my hair is now chemically straightened......:j:j:j I love it and no more fluffing about trying to make it look half good.

I will need a colour closer to BIL's wedding but that shouldn't be too bad and i think i've found the perfect dress on ebay, one shoulder and it's midnight blue. It's not too long and not too short, i should be able to catch kids in it..:rotfl:

House looks awful and kids due home in 15 minutes. I'm no food in so i might ring my sister and see if she fancies going to MrA. I think she seen something for Eva in there. Then i'll keep the wm fed all evening. Hubby can keep the fire topped up. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I am pleased to announce that I have done all my washing! :j
I've bagged up 2 black sacks of clothes for the local Scouts group, they sell them for funds or something.
I've washed the cushion covers from the living room and flitted about a bit.
I'm having yet another down day with horrible thoughts filling my head about what the boyfriendish is getting up to as I've not heard from him again :(
The girls are home now so they'll make me feel a bit better :o
DD1 and I will be going through the budget for the remaining month, see how skint we are lol
Then they have some of their own jobs to do, I'm hoping to start giving them "pocket money" in the hope they'll learn to budget it (unlike me who's never learnt :o)
  • I am ashamed to admit that the only things i have done today are:

    load and unload the dishwasher
and put a load of washing in

DS went to the gP's today - but the nurse couldn't get the stitches out ( he left hosp with no instructions) so he had to go back to the hosp - luckily they did manage to get them out!

We just have to keep our fingers crossed that his scan results on monday reveal no fracture - the alternative is surgery and I am sick to the back teeth of that hospital at the moment.....

Otherwise 4 loads of washing done and have been to work and have taken DD2 to station to get a railcard.......

Lovely autumnal day here - really bright and sunny!

i have sorted out my filing from the upstairs mamouth filing bag :j it is in piles on the spare bed ready to be filed, so tomorrow i will get all my folders out and will have a shredding/filing marathon
