I always cook them in their skins
- Add a sprig of mint when boiling
- Roast them with a little garlic butter 10 mins before coming out of the oven
- Roast them with some maple syrup or honey drizzled over 10 mins before coming out of the oven.
- Slice them and fry them
- Make a potato salad
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I always roast them too or cut them into coin size and have them as "sauteed", also really good as a scalloped potato on the top of a pie
Were having them halved and roasted with garlic with beef bourginon tonight :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hello
New potatos go really well in curry and in casserole - i know it sounds a little weird, but because new pots are waxy they dont break up and disolve when cooking. I always use new potatoes for these recipes

I boil them up with a tin of Prince's stewing steak and some tinned carrots and peas, easy 20 minute stew with Yorkshire Puds after work
Or I quarter them (if they are big, halve them if small) and slow roast in their skins with sea salt and rosemary for baby potato wedges.
In Tenerife they were sliced thin and fried and served with breakfast - not something I do at home but they are lovely in an omelette with a bit of tomato or mushroom!0 -
Make some potato salad with that jar of Helman's you need using up

Throw them together with a jar of tomato and chilli sauce, sliced chorizo (I use half a Lidl U-shape) and a pack of bacon lardons (one portion of Lidl's 2 portion packs) and roast for about an hour. Delish!
If you don't have those bits, can you make a tom sauce from tin toms, onions, and pinch chilli? Or a plain tom sauce with whatever meat you have in freezer - few bits chick, or pork, might be nice. Or even just as a veggie dish with no meat would work well.GC 2010 €6,000/ €5,897

Boil in skins, roughly crush them while still warm and toss them in a little olive oil or natural yogurt and lots of lemon juice and season well and serve luke-warm or room temp.
One of my favourite taste of summer. I can happily eat this as a meal with a side dish of peas and lettuce cooked together.0
