  • Really good news.

I have been offered a job - just 4 hours a week cleaning for the lady that my DD1 is a nanny for. Her cleaner just up and left and I need a bit of cash. £8 an hour. £32 less a bit of petrol money. No tax to pay not earning enough.

I know it is only cleaning but I would be doing it at home for nothing!!! I am waiting for a call now to iron out the details but Tuesday mornings should now see me in a very posh part of Bristol!!!!

    Hello all :hello:

I just want to say a huge THANKS to people who have posted about their teens in a new job and them not sleeping and getting stressed.

Master tru is a nightmare. He winds everybody up but I seem to get the worst of it  Once he's caused chaos, he calms down but everyone else (OK - me) is still in a state. I've ended up in tears most days and that's not like me at all. Though I'm not glad others are going through it, it's nice to know it's not just me

No its definitely not just you, although it might feel like it! I have worried about him all day and have been out and bought nytols and lavender oil as recommended by you good folks:T tonight he will be having a bath with the oil in it and a nytol plus all the other advice given and if I hear him wondering the house after midnight again I shall scream!
Both mine are giving cause for concern at the moment as DS2 has admitted smoking(he's only 14!)

Its no wonder I've got bags under my eyes and rapidly greying hair!  :D

Been keeping an eye on you all today but haven't had a chance to post anything as have been a tad busy at work. Also my left wrist is giving me a lot of pain today.

Just noticed I have two stars!
