Maybe it is, but how do you get all these jobs unless you know someone who works there?

Work your way up from where is the question?

    The bottom, mate. :)

Okay then, what about banking? Senior Strategy Analysist £30-35k. Finance/accounting? Financial Analyst £23ish-28ish. Graduate training scheme roles? Graduate/Trainee for an IT firm £21-23k.

Again question is how doyou work yourr way up to get these jobs? There is nothing lower than a Trainee to start from.

The bottom Phil - my brother started as a telephone support person - not doing anything technical at all. But, he did it well - he worked and worked, was helpful and polite, and spoke to everyone.

What  The flipping trainee post is where you could start from. In another company it might be general admin, secretary, whatever the type of place it is. It depends on what the job spec is. Read that, see if you can match your skills on paper and apply. Try applying for a variety of roles, not just higher paid ones and see what happens. Go into an agency. Explain what qualifications you have, skills etc and they will be able to match you to something suitable.

or just sit here, start a thread that continues for up to and beyond 20 pages, on what qualifications you have, which is best.. agency or applying straight out to a company, and then ignore every single bit of advice you get given, pretty much a norm with all your threads phil!!!!
