You can freeze semi skimmed and skimmed milk, yes just whack it in the freezer but make sure there is a bit of space in the container as frozen it takes up a bit more space - I free 4 pt plastic cartons and as they are never filled right to the top they are fine. Just leave them in fridge or on side to defrost - they take up to a day so you need to plan ahead if you know you are going to have to use them - then just give them a really good shake as they look weird when defrosted but quite safe to use. if you forget to shake ( yes done that) it means milk seems watery as fat is all in one place rather than mixed through but again quite safe to drink.

Just don't freeze full fat as it contains to much fat to freezer safely so is more likely to go off even in the freezer
 I have a months worth of whole milk frozen in the garage!

Give it a really good shake when you defrost it - really, really good. I won't leave it in there for to, to long ( I have kept skimmed in freezer a couple of years and it was still ok but would not keep whole for that long......its because whole milk has so much fat they say don't freeze it as fat doesn't really freeze well....all you can do is try it and see what you think.

What have I started with shoe wheels.....lol :p

I now have to find a decent sized cream fleece blanket cheap as I am making a new home 'cake' (similar to the nappy cake idea with towels/fleeces as the icing), with lots of new home goodies buried inside and a bottle of wine in the centre. This is for my OH's niece who is getting a flat in a few weeks.

    So I need to get:-

    safety pins
    pegs
    clothes line
    sewing kit
    tea lights
    candle lighter
    hand soap
    bottle of rose
    rubber gloves
    hand cream
    cloths
    cream fleece
    hand towels
all purpose cleaner (Stardrops :o, it has to be)
    nail brush

all hidden in a fake cake. Where would be cheapest to get everything? Home bargains, Tesco?

p.s. I'm on a tight budget.....lots of interviews next week so keep your fingers crossed for me please!

Got DS his winter nursery trousers today, 4 pairs, £4 each. They are enormous lol. Hope he puts on some weight as they just slide down his hips. Still, when it's cold I'll put him long sleeve thermals on, so hopefully something for the waistband to grip...

Also got dd some warm fleece lined joggers. Look very cute...

Got everything crossed for you and I would have a look in 99p shops, Home Bargain, Wilkinsons for most of the items as price is important.

I had never heard of a shoe wheel - I am just happy with the £1.99 canvas shelving system from halfcost as now my shoes have some where to live - hubby has been eyeing them up and I think I will be ordering a couple for him - now its free delivery over £10 at moment so perfect excuse to order a few more bits from them :rotfl:

I have got one of those canvas shelf thingys. I have my pjs in the top, then knicks, bras, socks and a spare one at the bottom for my winter slipper boots. I've get them for the kids when I take their shelves out as at the mo they don't need long hanging space yet...

I bought two one has all my short sleeved every day tops in and suddenly my wardrobe is half full - just jackets, long sleeved and good tops in there so plenty of room to hang it and other wardrobe has skirts, trousers, my few dresses ( not a dress person really and even then has to be long) so have the shoe one hanging in there so as a prep for winter its great as will be able to find my boots and good walking shoes easily now.
