I thought I was lucky as managed to pick up a second freezer via freecycle yesterday until son came down tonight and informed me his had packed in - so alas my second freezer will be making another move to his flat on Saturday......oh well will keep looking.

pah thanks so much for mentioning 100% wool may felt on a hot water cover and prevent the heat from escaping. I had no idea and planned on doing it. Thanks

Tink LO is in a toddler bed and I got the single ones on offer in ISME/ Very discussed a few pages back, I just fold the edges under. Mothercare do sell them but of course they are quite expensive or you could try Ebay. I got 2 moses basket flannel sheets the other day on there for £2 something and they are actually £10 in Mothercare.

I also have a 2nd FF. Needs must. Its in the garage ATM. But as I'm moving house in a few weeks I've bought myself a new FF for the kitchen http://www.bootskitchenappliances.com/product/ZRB939NX2-Zanussi-Fridge-Freezer-Stainless-Steel-24834.aspx. Need more fridge than freezer cos I'm thinking ahead for the next 10 yrs (kids growing, eating/drinking more etc!).

But I am leaving the tatty 2nd FF in this garage as we have a 2nd one in the new place. I'm also toying with the idea of buying an under counter freezer. If I get snowed in there I am well stuck. Plus there's not much supplies in the village shop (3 loaves & they go in minutes!) so it'll be handy to store bread etc.

We'll see how my 1st winter here goes then check the forecasts & buy one quikcly if I have to!

Well my halfcost order arrived and got to say am pleased with it.

The foil curtains are very thin but they are strong, I have been yanking at them and they are still whole, just don't let anything sharp near them, so they will be going up with the door curtains. Just noticed they have the Kleeneze name on them.

I bought two of those canvas shelves unit you hang in wardrobe as for the price I thought i would take the gamble and am very pleased they hold loads so much more space now in my wardrobes.

Bought hubby polo shirts for work - it was buy 4 pay for three so he likes to wear the same every day at work - delivery driver, so it looks like a uniform so got him 4 of the green and navy ones and for £4.50 I cannot complain, not great but will do him for work for next year - he will only stop wearing them when they fall apart.

Fell for the feed me mat for my doggies so it is now sitting under their feeding station and a joke book to put in hubby's birthday pile and threw in some sanitiser tablets ( they have the Kleeneze name on them) for my stock cupboard and whole lot came to £15.37 so thank you very much for telling us about them. I will be keeping a keen eye on their stock.

I was surprised when delivery man knocked as only had another email from halfcost this morning saying my order was being processed - which in the explanation meant it was being put together in the warehouse and I would get another email when it was being sent out. Can't complain at the speed of delivery either.

you must have got my dispatch note :))) Well still might turn up today, plenty of time yet.

Ssssshhhhhhhh don't tell hubby but I put my shoes in one of those hanging shelves and there is still space for more - I did a cull of my shoes at beginning of the week, so obviously I need to start looking round at what shoes/boots can fill those gaps don't I.:rotfl::rotfl:
They are quite deep I have a pair of soft fleecy lined boots that come half way up my calf on their side in the bottom one and was able to put my winter slippers - two pairs on top without squashing them, so no scuttling round this winter when I want either soft boots or winter slippers, usually all my shoes lived in a pile at bottom of wardrobe as was no where else for them to go. Hiking type boots ( well they are hiking boots but I not longer can go on hikes) and trainers live in downstairs loo along with welli boots and wellies as any of them can be used in garden and loo is right by back door but everything else lived in the 'heap.'
