Myself and my DH went to see this tonight, and our opinion was.....
'why have we just wasted a precious baby-sitting credit with Gramps....and wasted 2 hours of our time'?!
When the credits rolled, you could hear the 'sniggers', and people were looking bemused at one-another!
Not our 'cup of tea'!
Glad you enjoyed it though FizzieLizzie!makinprogress0 -
Was at the glasgow screening of how to recognize your saints and thought this was a great film. One of the best films seen in a while . Not easy going but the style and acting in the movie was top notch.0

Must just be us then, cos we thought it was a like a 'low budget movie'.
Robert Downey Jnr was OK. Eric Roberts was in it for all of 2 minutes!makinprogress0 -

Not easy to watch by any means but glad we stuck with it to the end. Interesting, (probably not the right word), to see the less glamorous side of 1980's NY portrayed, and Robert Downey Jr was , as usual, fab!
I never would have gone to see a film like this in a million years had it not been for the freebie preview tickets....I'm just so glad to be prised out of my usual comfort-zone to see things like this.

Awful. what was the point!!! and the ending!!!!! OMG. Wish id not bothered. Wouldnt recommend it if it came with free tickets, popcorn, drink, nachos and all!!!0 -
I saw Recognising Saints last night in Wimbledon - was a cracking gritty film. Go if you like character driven hard hitting films - don't go if you want one dimensional easy watching rom coms!
Great film!0 -
