I never said they didn't, but if I'd posted the response "Please do not post this information here - kindly delete" instead, it would still have been an unwanted post on the thread and had the same response.
Perhaps I could ask you the same question having seen several unnecessary posts by yourself on that thread recently. But then again, who's counting. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

Yes I have posted on the tickets only thread a couple of times, but when I realised I was part of the problem I didn't continue doing so, I stopped.
The 2 board guides have to contend with 'seeing' all posts including those that have been deleted, So whereeas we see 30-40 posts they could be seeing 340 & there comes a point where it becomes unmanageable for them & the thread has to be restarted anew. So why not help the board guides out & make their life a bit easier by not posting 'off topic'?0 -

But obviously you've got too much time on your hands fretting and haven't recovered from the totally pointless post.
As for me, I've been at a funeral directors for most of the day arranging the funeral of my partner's mother and couldn't give a toss. There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

I went to see Freedom Writers this morning - really good film! :T
I did wonder how many other MSE-ers were in the audience as I noticed that most people brought their own snacks and drinks rather than pay the extortionate prices the odeon charge. :rolleyes:0 -
We went to see Freedom Writers too this morning..... ye Gods 10.30 on a Sunday  ... they had to open up the cinema specially for those of us with preview tickets...no chance of buying any drinks/snacks as that bit was shut!
Good film apart from Imelda Staunton's American accent...why on earth did they cast an English actress.....presumably she got the part on the back of 'Vera Drake'? Also, how come the students were so literate and articulate with their diaries when otherwise they were regarded as uneducated???
Does anyone know if the concentration camp survivors were the real people or actors...also Miepe, was that really her? Wanted to watch the credits but we were chucked out...
All in all, quite a moving film...Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly!0 -
Could this thread be made into a sticky? Might ease the problem if people see straight away that there is a discussion thread for free cinema tickets.0

I went to see this at Edinburgh and thought it rocked!! Very moving film.
Not too sure about the concentration camp survivors but I dont think Miep Gies was the original Miep Gies (sat to the end fo the credits)
a great film though. My first freebie and hopefully not last
