  • The Illusionist is PG cert, but I was wondering if any of kind MSers who have watched it could comment on its suitability for kids (7-9 yrs).

Youngest in our viewing looked about 10, and they seemed to get bored - it is a bit 'grown-up' as previous poster said :) Not 'naughty' but a bit slow for young 'uns :D
  • Great Film! Better than "The Prestige" in my humble opinion.....No kids at Manchester....3/4 full. Go watch it if you can...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Anyone see the Good Shepherd at Ipswich Cineworld? The film ran ok for 2hrs then when it warmed up the film ran back to front as if they were all Russian!!! The film staff said this would go on for 15 mins then resume as usual as the film had been cut wrongly! Huh we all walked out.
Shame as good film til then!

Brilliant!!!!!! Full and overflowing at southampton! Not sure why that was so full when Hot Fuzz was only about 1/3rd full. If your child is quite grown up for their age then I think they will enjoy it - mine is 8 going on 60 and although i didnt take him I think he would have enjoyed it.

three young lads (about 14yrs)walked out within the first 15 minutes at the screening we seen, obviously not what they were expecting! but a few younger ones seemed to enjoy it

Thanks Snow Angel,faded-flowers,Aquatic and Mickeyme, my kids are 7 and 9yr old(who have a tendency to get very bored very quickly) I think I will not take them along if its bit slow.
