It didn't dare cut up rough, confronted with your clear command santer -
removed conventionally via Add or Remove programs.
btw - my dear old google toolbar had bbc news on it and it tended to be from there that I've used i-player, rather than the big black/magenta-ish lump.

If you have a list of frequently visited sites, make a bookmark folder for them, then you should have the option to open all in tabs
