Congrats on passing! Sorry about the lack of new handbags but one day you will be able to have one.
I've actually seen the perfect one on ebay for a few pounds but the snag is the auction finishes on Sabbath...so don't know if I should put my bid in late Saturday evening. Tend not to do ebay on Sabbath...Don't know...think my max will be £15-20 for the 'perfect' one but if I don't get that there's a few others I have on my 'watch' list....I know I'll get one eventually. It's just a matter of when :j...LondonGirl252 wrote: »One last post before bed!
Today my boss - J and colleague - S were discussing the upcoming parties this Thurs and next Mon so I took the opportunity to mention I'd miscalculated my finances and am actually on £40 to last the month (said a bit less for more impact) so just re-iterated that id be leaving after the meals and that I've been asked to ride too the next day so it all works out (two reasons - go me!) and they were so nice and offered to help me out, to which I thanked and declined and said I would be fine just would make me feel better if I knew I wouldnt spend anything on these nights out. J tried harder to persuade me round and its nice cos he said it wouldnt be the same without me and he wanted to help etc etc, anyway he got called into a meeting. Then S had a chat and said she could see I was stressed, she asked if I would feel better if they presurised me less to stay out. So I explained how Id love to stay out etc but I just need to get straight so yes it would, she was really sweet and said she would make sure they don't try and force me to carry on, on the night. And did offer to get me drinks the rest of the night but understood me needing to go home.
So feel a bit better about that now, it was nice how she just understood without me having to go into too much detail.
I am actually getting up to ride tomorrow, my fave horse has got bad legs so just needs a gentle walk for half an hour. Im going to stuff him full of carrots!
Night all, thanks for the encouragement x
Och well done you :j...Just popping in on a 'bad' day (think I overdid it yesterday and ended up all paranoid) to say well done...
Horace you are doing fab. Just wondering if walking or cycling is an option to save pennies...Don't be discouraged hun. I'm lucky as I get good benefits for now but don't know how long they will last for
So yeah - first law of getting a job is not to put 'unwell' statuses on facebook but pm relevant friends as appropriate..
Am just about to go out to an xmas lunch with my friends - only £12.50 for a 3 course lunch so best skoot...:)
TC and I'll speak later with more stuff

I am the same about shopping on Sunday (though I have to work sometimes but I don't mind too much as it's necessary for the well being of clients). I can't advise you hun - go with your conscience and don't let 'but it's a bargain!' skew your judgment.
Sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Hoping for better today.Take it steady and allow yourself breaks.

Well do you know I hadn't noticed! :rotfl:So it was probably at 2500, but I was too busy talking to pay attention.Miggy

Frozen Planet has been amazing - I loved the thieving penguin. David Attenborough was on BBC Breakfast yesterday morning and he was saying how the programme took 4 years to film and he doubted that the BBC would spend that long making similar programmes in the future which to me is a great shame.
I have had people wanting to sub me and I have always declined - I got myself into this pickle so I will get myself out of it (although my parents are helping with one massive debt and have gifted me the money).0 -

Morning all!
So Im feeling a little fuzzy headed this morning but not too bad! The meal was lots of fun!!! Secret Santa was hilarious and played drinking games which made us laugh so hard my stomach hurt!
Only spent £6 of the alloted £25 So i'm £15 up which is great. Went for a quick dance after the meal as it was before 10pm so free to get in, then just as I was about to leave everyone suggested calling it a night and three of them were heading my way so I just jumped in their cab and it cost me £6 to share. So pretty happy with that! Would have got the tube but it was quite late to be wandering around alone and as they were going right down my street anyway, it seemed silly not to!
No takers for the hotel room yet, it seems most already have one!
Hope today goes quick, no plans tonight so should be NSD. Tomorrow im gonna get up for a run then do this waitressing then rugby club party where hopefully I won't have to spend either.
Sunday no plans!
Everyone else on form today??
Oh our dosser has been at it again. Flatmate text me last night to say she'd done her FOURTH load of washing with our other flatmates washing tabs AND went in FM's room to take her toothbrush charger and charged her toothbrush all day. FM has sent her an email asking her to replace the washing tabs and to ask before taking as god knows what else she's helped herself to. Apprantley she went out and left the lights on all day too. Thank god she's going on Sunday.
