I am the same about shopping on Sunday (though I have to work sometimes but I don't mind too much as it's necessary for the well being of clients). I can't advise you hun - go with your conscience and don't let 'but it's a bargain!' skew your judgment.
Sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Hoping for better today.Take it steady and allow yourself breaks.
Well do you know I hadn't noticed! :rotfl:So it was probably at 2500, but I was too busy talking to pay attention.
Wondered why you are so lovely to me - hugs Miggy.....You are fab and help keep me sane...
It's a truly fab bag...Auction doesn't finish till about 10pm on Sabbath evening so don't know. Just what I want. Have my eye on a couple of others that finish a few days later. One already has one bid on it....I know my limits and I think it's important to stick to them so I could technically bid late Saturday evening and then leave it and if I've won pay Monday am (and paypal will come out of my account 2 days later so that will be fine :T. Actually now I think about it I have a refund I should get Monday or tuesday so that will part pay for it :T)...
But the other bags aren't as good so I think I shall leave it till my wee jaunt and see what they have there. I might find something fab in a charity shop or on a marketLondonGirl252 wrote: »Haha completely right! Amazing how MSE completely changes your thinking about money. Better than therapy!
Nope you have done it London Girl....and also the debt snowball. So addicted to my debt snowball
Still fuzzy headed this am. I think it could be the weather. Building was really rocking last night...so scary...
Don't know if I will go to volunteering or not this pm. Need prayer my doc takes me off the injections and onto tablets...

As another young(ish) Londoner occasionally juggling a degree, a couple of jobs, and a social life, just wanted to say - good work! Keep at it! I note that mine and my fiancee's social life is now mostly having dinner parties at our house, which seems a great way to keep seeing our friends a lot, teaching ourselves to cook, and making sure we're not in a position to make bad spending decisions after a few drinks at a club...!0

Had a small spend today as I needed to put some money on my canteen allowance. But, better than it could have been, all the girls went to pret for lunch and I joined them to re-live last night but didn't buy a thing. I took a bunch of 10ps from my change pot this am and topped up my card with those.
Tomorrow plan to get up for a run, then waitressing, then party. Not feeling worried about money tomorrow night as entry is sorted and I never spend much at the club anyway, after last night im not even really looking forward to drinking!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Have just spent my Friday night producing a year planner for the first half of 2012! Madness
Well, if I pass that exam, then in May I will have 3 to sit. Study will start in Feb with a combination of evenings, weekends and workdays spent in a classroom. So I figured I ought to plan it as it takes a fair bit of co-ordination and planning and also involves a lot of time off work. Some given by work, some from my annual leave and I want to get my boss on board - which I'm sure he will be - before the madness of year end accounts starts in Jan. So that on the 12th Jan when results come in if its positive then I can whizz off my booking form for classes and hopefully get a space on the ones I want.
Can't I ever relax???
Also next payday I'm going to order one of the books ahead from the CIMA publisher so I can start reading up on whats supposed to be the hardest oneSantander 0% £1,529.94

Hi all,
Good day so far, its a gorgeous day here in London - very cols but bright blue skies. So got up and headed up to the heath where I did 12k but it was some walking too as my legs were a bit sore so I just ran as much as could until it hurt then took little breaks, can definitley feel my fitness improving and need to weigh myself tomorrow am as I'm sure Ive slimmed down!
Went down to the club to help out for a while, there wasnt a huge amount to do so got a free lunch then just chatted to the guys. Everyone's looking forward to the party later.
Hope you're all having a good day!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Right get your teeth into this one guys!!!
As you know tonight is the rugby club xmas party. Dosser is coming as my FM invited her from before she arrived as she knows some of the guys there. We also invited our friends who are a couple to join us for X factor and drinks before we walk down the road.
Well me and my FM were just having a snoozy afternoon listening to the Westlife album (I know!!) she was snoozing and I've been reading diaries etc, lights down, music on. Dosser has just come back from an afternoon with her friend and brought her friend back with her so now they've woken FM up and chatting and disturbing our snoozing.
THEN she's announces she's invited 2 MORE friends along tonight and one of them I remember FM telling me is completely nuts and a real handful after a drink.
FM has bought a few nibbles to share tonight between us so, Dossers friends are gonna come to OUR flat, drink OUR drink and probably eat OUR food and she didn't even check first.
And I also realised the heating was on at odd times again and asked FM if it was her and we realised dosser had changed our heating settings to be on all day when we're at work and she's dossing here.
We are furious!!!
Sorry to just come and rant on here but I had to let it out and she is in the same room!Santander 0% £1,529.94
