I wonder if we work for the same company!? Same thing happened in our finance department yesterday! Later on in the day they then announced more in our Product Development department. Its a scary climate.
I know its business and it needs to happen etc, but one guy started with the company 3 months before I was born! He must be getting a fortune in payout.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

That's really weird!! I don't think we have a product development department so must be different firms! That would have been ever crazier!
Yeah same with these four, two had been there before Id born and the other two not much less. If I was getting their payout id be happy as larry but unfortunately im only into year 2!
I know its not personal and its job related but it has made me furious that the B***h who made my life hell for a year, does nothing all day but surf the net, bullies her staff .... i could go on. Is still sat there whilst these hard workers, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people have gone.
Another chapter down. 3 more to go.... Today's subjects are leadership, management and culture... quite fitting actually...Santander 0% £1,529.94

Thanks for all the comments and support for me and phone. It really does keep me on track!
Day 1 of study leave today and so far so good! I made a revision timetable last night and have stuck to it this am, 2 chapters done and dusted. Another 4 to go today and some practice questions after. Currently on an allotted 15min break!
Yesterday was so horrible at work. Four colleagues were made redundant out of the blue. They had all been in the company for year. Two of them over 25 years, they had a wealth of experience and knowledge. They came in yesterday like a normal Tuesday and by 11am they were gone. Can't imagine how they must be feeling.
In the afternoon management announcement it was put down to the current climate in our industry, cost cutting and a re-organisation of the department due which identified their jobs were no longer required.
Massive shocker. Bit upset and lost 4 friends and really helpful colleagues who were always kind whereas my team back then weren't.
He did say there were no more planned redundancies but obviously no guarantees. So hopefully that is it. But it did make me realise even more how much I need to sort out this debt. I'd be in a horrible pickle if I was out of work.
Right, break over.
Will report later...
Och sounds awful
Yeah I saw my employment support worker and went to Baptism class last night but I'm pickled today and I've lost 2 e-cig batteries and have to go to volunteering in a sec......:(
But tis life. Maybe they'll let me off at 3 and I can go for a nap at 4? Maybe?LondonGirl252 wrote: »Thank you!

Run sounds good. Are you following any programme? Sounds fab and much cheaper than the gym :T
BTW. I'm going to start trimming my hair...Save me money (even though my hair cut is just £6 a pop at the local college)...loads of you tube videos on it and like you can get the kit from amazon. Maybe worth a short London Girl

Hey all,
Really successful days revision today, got everything covered I planned and did more questions on top. Same again tomorrow.
I have re-jigged my £££ spreadsheet again, it wasn't taking into account the whole picture each month. Now I can see exactly what I can afford each month. I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford all the social events next month and the presents I have left to buy. Now, I know I can but it involves a LOT of NSD's.
I track my spending each day and it tells me how much more I need in my NSD pot to be able to afford the month.
Oh, and today was a NSDthat's 3 for the month, another 7 to go.
Right, eyes are tired. Will report tomorrow.Santander 0% £1,529.94

Och I know but I'm only going to take about 1/2 inch off at first till I get the hang of it...nothing like youtube tutor LOL....
I have really long hair (it's down to about my bust)...more worried about my fringe than anything else LOL
Well first time on here all am. They couldn't find it yesterday (they found it 2 mins after I left ) after going to pick up nicorette from the Post Office and now I have to get my brain in gear to study pre lunch. Today being a study day and all that. Don't know when I'll get chance to sort out new year cards. Just too busy ..
This pm is menu plan and food shop and tonight it's curry night at a local church. Tomorrow is volunteering and meeting a girl from church to discuss baptism. Saturday is volunteering and like meeting someone off here for coffee...
Just because I'm on benefits don't make me bone idle!!!! LOL

I recently put a formula in mine that calculates the number of days between 'now' (whenever now is) and payday, then divides my remaining money by that number, giving me a guide as to how much I have to spend each day. Its been a godsend! I love my finance spreadsheet. I carry it on my USB key on my keyring and look at it several times each dayWhat a nerd I am!
